Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
How long could she pretend it was not so? Cats wondered, but none wanted to attempt to get her to give up her duties. Even now, as she waddled across the tunnels at a slow pace, her expression was determined. Something had changed in Roon whenever the blind protector had stripped her of her Chaman position. Roon had felt lost for some time, and Meepo had been a willing distraction. So willing, that he’d become a part of her every day life. If she wasn’t working, she was with Meepo. The two seemed joined at the hips, but they were a pleasant couple. Even he had attempted to speak to Roon about her swelling belly, but had gotten not even an inch. She’d simply cut him off, and go back to work.
What was it that was making her deny this so? Perhaps there was an underlying issue, but who could possibly get her to open up?
"You look like you're awful' determined about somethin', hmm?" meowed the voice of a rather chubby brown tabby. For a while, she had been gaining weight herself, and by this point, she could feel that she was carrying kits. Like Roon, though, there was a hesitancy about admitting such things, so she hadn't let anyone know yet. Guider Cordelia Rose had a set reason, though. The father of her own kittens was, as of now, out of the picture. What she wouldn't give to be someone like Roon, who could reasonably expect some sort of paternal responsibility. But, she had made her bed, and now she would lay in it. "Anythin' I could help ya with, Miss Superia Roon?"
The black feline paused as she heard the voice. A small smile pulled along her lips and the previous expression on her face had faded from existence. “Hello there, Guider Cordelia Rose.” It was a simple greeting, one that didn’t acknowledge her first statement. Roon paused, lifting a sore paw and shaking it out for a moment. “I could use some help carrying some moss to the tykes. It’s been getting rather cold, even in the tunnels.” She stated, almost worriedly.

Cordelia was an observant fellow, and she noticed immediately the evasion of her first comment. Odd. She then frowned slightly. "Colder than usual for this time of the year?" she asked, although not to discredit the Raiser Superior. She was just worried herself a little by the idea that the kittens that rested in her own womb would be born into a frozen world... Her gaze fell for a moment, before she resolved herself to smile. "It would be my honor to assist you with that," she meowed after a beat, before moving closer to her.
My paws sure do ache... “Oh, thank you.” She couldn’t deny that she was grateful. It had shown across her features rather quick, and the blue-green eyed feline moved aside for a moment. “Are you alright?” She’d seen the way her eyes had darted to the ground, which made her move forward a little.

Cordelia Rose felt herself blushing. She hadn't meant to be so obvious in her tell. "Oh... it's nothing," she mewed slowly, before frowning. It was definitely something. "I just worry if it's too cold. I haven't told anyone this yet," she looked a little embarrased. Maybe she shouldn't tell her, but it was already too late. "I'm expecting myself, and I just worry the babes will be so cold..."
