Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Why was everything so boring? Copycat-chan groaned to himself, rolling onto his back. His tiny paws hung limply in the air, as if something fun would magically fall into them. There wasn’t anybody around to talk to, and he wasn’t fairing well with it. He was bored, and lonely, and a tad grumpy. “Dumb camp. Dumb cats. I want to be grown already!” Copycat-chan sighed, scrambling to his paws. He jumped around as if he were those green little—things? What were they called? Hoppers? Whatever they were, they liked to jump and play in water. He liked water.
He wished he had someone to play with, someone to adventure with. Or maybe he should just go out by himself.
Isidora-chan peaked out of her little den. She had found a section of the crumbled church that was perfect for just one cat. She still had no idea who she had been, but luckily she had recently remembered her name. Stepping out into the sunlight she shook out her shimmery pelt. Her eyes settled one a fluffy black kitten laying on his back. Slowly she stalked around the edge of the camp, watching him twitch his paws. Isidora-chan froze when the kitten hopped up and began to jump around. She slid back into the shadows watching the kitten jump around with her head tilted. Once he stood still she stepped out into the open.
"What are you doing?" Isidora-chan asked as she stood next to him. If she could recall the gossip she had heard he arrived alone not long before she did. He couldn't be much older than her as well. Perhaps they could have something in common. It couldn't hurt to try and make friends, she was tired of being alone.

His hopping slowed at the sound of the new voice. Someone was talking to him? Excitement prickled under his pelt. He faced the other youngling, examining her thoroughly. He recognized her, sure, but he couldn’t quite put a name to her face.
“Hey—you’re new here! Wanna play? I’m Copycat-chan, who are you? He absorbed her posture, her expression, trying to gather as much as he could on her. She didn’t seem so bad. “I wanna adventure, do you wanna join?”
"Isidora-chan, though I'm not personally a fan of the chan part." She shrugged. It wasn't like she had a choice, but she would have preferred to drop the ending. If she was going to live in the League though she probably had to follow the rules. Or at least she did until she found loopholes. The russian blue had a list of things she needed to get done. Having friends or at the very least allies was at the top of the list. This Copycat-chan could be useful. She shook her head, getting rid of such adult thoughts for the moment.
"What sort of adventure?" She asked tilting her head slightly as she looked around the camp. There seemed to be few in any adults that cared to watch over the youth of the league. Perhaps the two of them could get away with a whole lot of mischief. Her tail wiggled in excitement.

He laughed, “Im not a fan of it either. I can’t wait to get rid of it.” He eyed her, aligning his paws with her own. She seemed like an interesting character, to say the least. She seemed fun—in a strange sort of way. Sure, she was a bit serious and acted generally grown up, but that’s what was fun about her. She was sort of like a challenge. Though, he didn’t know her well yet.
“I’m not sure, a fun one though. I wanna go tree climbing, or exploring. I hear there’s these other territories out there and I wanna see them!” He tilted his head the same way she did, his eyes flashing with excitement. “So you wanna join me or not?” He could almost feel her excitement from where he stood.
Isidora-chan had been outside the camp before, that was how she had gotten here. Though she really could not remember much if any of it all. It would be nice to see it all this time. "Outside the camp sounds fun, though I really would like to avoid rivers." She added that last part as an afterthought. She couldn't recall why but the thought of a river sent chills down her spine. There had to be a ton of other things to see with tiny kitten legs they could only get so far after all.
"Well, shall we start then?" She stood up and waved her tail. There was only so much daylight and no sense in wasting it. Isidora had heard great things about the city that the League sat next to. There were all sorts of things to get into.

“It does! I’ve only been out camp once before, and that’s how I joined the League!” He hummed absently, noting her reluctance to rivers. Curiosity prickled his pelt. If he were to bring them to a river, how would she react? Would she run? Would she put on a brave face? Would she cry or laugh or do something unexpected. He quite liked the waters. Swift moving currents that could swallow him up without a second though. He could feel a spike of adrenaline already.
“Yeah, lets start.” He purred, jumping ahead of her and waved his tail. “I found a neat little hole thingy. It’s the perfect exit because it leads right out of camp and, if we’re quick, we won’t be caught at all.” The hole was a crumbling part of the wall, just big enough for a cat to squeeze its way through. He wiggled his way through, waving his tail until he was on the other side.
“It’s a bit of a tight fit, but you can make it.” There was something about a secret escape that excited him. He could, most likely, make his way out through the camp exit and nobody would say a thing. But that wasn’t as fun. The next best thing seemed to be a hole in a wall, and his exploring of camp certainly seemed to turn out good results in the end.
“Yay! Freedom!” He called, skipping ahead slightly. “Hurry up, slowpoke.” Copycat-chan teases, flicking his tail in excitement.
Isidora-Chan huffed as she wiggled through the hole. She just fit though she really couldn’t stand up. On the out her side she shook off the dirt in her coat. This side of the camp wall did not seem to different from inside; perhaps things would change when they got a little farther from the city. A little bit of her was disappointed there was no scary looking creatures out here. She really thought it would be more thrilling.
Trotting after Copycat, her little paws flicked up snow. It was just deep enough to be fun. Unknowingly she stepped onto a patch of ice that coated an old sidewalk. Isidora-Chan slid forward, her legs slightly spread out. She tumbled slightly as she skidded to the edge of the ice. Laying in her back in the snow she began to giggle.

His paws relished in the cold, a burning pain pricked his pawpads but he could not care less. He laughed, watching Isadora-chan tumble in the snow. He jumped in after her. He flicked snow at the other youngling, flicking his tail in excitement. The winter was the best time of the year. So cold. So fun. So amazing. He laughed again, scrambling out of the pile and shaking the left over snow from his pelt.
“So where do ya wanna go?” He asked, bouncing on his paws.
Tolling back to her stomach Isidora-Chan sat up. Flicking snow off her ears, she thought for a moment about Copycat’s question. They lived in ruins so that was pointless to explore, they could practically do that without leaving camp. The city could be cool but it stank and frankly it could be watched from the top of the church in camp. That left the forest, she knew that was where she came from. Perhaps if she went that way she could figure things out.
“How about the forest?” She turned her green gaze to Copycat-Chan. Hopefully the tom wouldn't think she had any alternative motives. Even if it had taken her a long time to come up with an answer.

“Oooh! Yeah! I wonder if there’s any creepy creatures in there.” He laughed, bouncing ahead of Isadora-chan. “I don’t remember being in the forest, but I think I must have at some point. I mean, how else would I have gotten here?” He slowed a bit, falling in beside the other youngling. “So many trees and cool things and weird animals! Hey, have you been in the forest before?” He finished his pointless rambling with a question. He knew that she had come here one day, out of the blue, but he didn’t exactly know the details. From which way? Why? He kicked a tiny stone with his paw as he walked by, eyeing Isadora-chan with a watchful gaze.
Isidora-Chan pauses for a moment. “I came from the forest.” She answered in a haunting voice, almost cryptic in her answer. She remembered being found nestled in the roots of a tree. The feeling of icy water on her paws tugged are the edge of her mind. She shook her head in attempt to brush it away. “Where did you come from?” She knew very little about this cat she decided to go in an adventure with.

“Ooh, spooky!” He wiggled his tail, wondering, just for a moment what it would be like to love in the forest. All alone, nobody to stop him from adventuring. But it would be rather lonely, wouldn’t it? “Me? Oh, I’m not sure. I think I mighta hit my head or something, but I remember thinking the church was a cool place and checking it out. Then I guess I decided to stay.” He stopped to talk, barely noticing his paw gesturing as he spoke. A strange habit he had picked up a while ago.
“Oh! Watch this!” He bounced ahead, eyed trained on a rather frail looking tree, claws flexing. “Imma climb this thing! Wanna come up with me?”
