Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
you don't have to complete these all, but in cannon a report will be made that checks all of these boxes. what is actually done in terms of rping this thread is completely at the discretion of honeystorm. this thread will take 1 in cannon day. it is part of a plot that lasts a week, but the thread may continue beyond that.
- assess the damage done by the flood. what parts of the tunnels are still useable? what parts are not?
- gather supplies that had been left in the tunnels. are there herbs that are salvagable? find them and store them, either in higher ground or bring they to dayclan.
- notice changes in prey that may have resulted from the flood. also notice if any predators have taken refuge in what is left of the tunnels.
- predict how long it will take to rebuild the tunnels or how long it will take for the tunnels to be hospitable.
- start the rebuilding process in the driest parts of the tunnels, but be careful because it has only been 2 in cannon days since the flood.
ROLEPLAY WILL BEGIN IN NEXT POST (probably started by honey, but anyone in the patrol may reply)

( Hey look, I'm finally here. >.> )
Everyone had gathered, and Shule had set out immediately. After the first flood, which had caused the destruction of the survival clans, she was quite used to dealing with tunnels in a decrepit state. Although, now she looked at it in a slightly different light. This was the second time in recent moons they had been dealing with water in the tunnels. They had ways to redirect water, and she'd ensured they were deep and repaired after last time, but this flood was far worse than the first. They'd had to temporarily relocate to DayClan, which they hadn't needed to before. Clearly, what they had wasn't enough. Once they got these tunnels back in order, and perhaps while they were doing so, she was already drawing up plans to help stabilize the tunnels more. Really, it was just carvings across branches and trunks and the moment, but she refused to have such a disaster again where they were at such high risk of these natural disasters. When what they had wasn't enough, they had to look to the future and innovation.
"Come on, no time to waste." She prodded the ground around the tunnel as they entered the underground. The Superior was quite certain this one was high enough to be relatively dry, but she wasn't taking any chances, feeling the ground and walls with an expert paw, gaze sweeping over the area as they walked, constantly alert. One could never be too careful. They were prone to cave ins with so much water in the ground, and she wasn't about to lose her patrol by being careless. "Watch your step, if anything appears unstable, tell me immediately."
"Righty-roo, Superior Shule!" Hurricane responded breezily as he followed after her. The scout was keeping an eye out for any signs of prey, alive or otherwise, or any trails they might have left. It was subtle work that might have been easily to mistake as doing nothing if he wasn't so vocal about it and constantly reported in that he'd found Nothing At All or occasionally an ooh, dead mouse! Truly, it seemed the new Commander had rubbed off on him in the worst of ways.
( i definitely didnt like this thread back when it was first posted and then completely forget about it nope )
Defiant let out a tired, subtle sigh as Hurricane piped up once again. The sentinel may not have been a member of the Regime too long, but something told him it might be worth keeping an eye on the other tom in conditions like these. More work for him. At least he seems to be working hard.
"Looking around right now I'm almost tempted to forego the first objective entirely and declare them all damaged beyond repair," he muttered under his breath, to no one in particular. He hesitantly poked the ground in front of him with a paw, continuing on deeper into the tunnel until he was met with a section of roof that looked to be sagging suspiciously low. "Hey, Shule," he murmured, though his voice still felt all-too loud in the eerie silence of the ruined tunnels. "It's not the walls or the floor, exactly, but..."
