Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
so, with novaclan and stuff, rr's tunnels are a little bit wet right now. before the battle, glowstar said she just wanted to help rr, so now that things are settled again, gossamer alessandra has taken it into her paws to make dayclan help rr have a dry place to be.
during this stay with dayclan, some cats will be sent to rr to help dry out the tunnels. ideally, there will be two patrols. i'll make a randomized one tonight, and then 1 will go live thursday night. if you're interested in the thursday night patrol, send me a message and i will make sure you're on it! each of these patrols will have at least 1 guider to take account of herb damage, 1 scout to check in on prey levels, several mercenaries to do the heavy tunnel reconstruction, a sentinel, and will be led by one of the superiors. spies may also tag along, but raisers are requested to stay with the children. meepo or the medical superiors may join at any time as they deem fit, but they do not have to, and there is evidence that gossamer alessandra would prefer for her high medical team stay and learn / interact with whatever cleav's med cat's name.
Gossamer Alessandra looked a little bit worse for wear. In several places, she was cut up, but she wasn't one of the leaders that had been killed or anything. Instead, she had some fun with some babies, most of which she still didn't quite understand why attacked her. Most of the Regime was ... well... as fine as you could expect from a giant battle where several of their ranks were traitors that tried to kill the whole forest. Maybe that part wasn't so great. The same couldn't be said, though, of the territory. Most of it was under water, thanks to the whole flood that was supposed to destroy the whole universe or whatever. Honestly, Gossamer still wasn't clear on the details of all of the things that had happened recently. For the most part, she didn't even care.
What she did care about, though, was the fact that the Regime was under water, which meant it was muddy, which meant that she was absolutely not sleeping anywhere near it. When trying to decide what exactly she was going to do in this conundrum, she realized the words that had come out of the DayClan leader's mouth. Something about just trying to help the Regime out because they helped them out back in the day. Which meant out of the whole forest, they seemed to be the most likely to host an entire group until the tunnels were survivable.
So, off they went. The Regime was slowly growing used to the fact that Gossamer Alessandra would casually tote them around, and this time, they came without much hassle. After all, what was the alternative? The tunnels were structurally unsound, as was the territory above ground. They had no other options than to go somewhere for a little bit.
When they had got to DayClan, they hadn't stormed the camp. Instead, a small warrior brought them to where they used to be. All of the Regime cats looked tired, and it was clear that another war wasn't in the cards. They just needed a place to stay, which led them to this moment, the moment where Gossamer Alessandra, followed by the entirety of the Regime, waltzed into DayClan territory.
"Good morning, DayClan! Long time no see," she meowed as she entered, very vigilant of the fact that DayClan also looked tired. "I missed you so much since the whole battle for the survival of the forest thing, so I just knew that we had to come visit! Where's Glowstar?"
Ignatius had managed to get out of the battle with very few injuries, having slipped passed the major fighting to tend to the hurt and help Chaman Meepo as well as the other medicine cats from the other groups, he didn't walk away completely unscathed though, limping slightly as he followed Commander Alessandra into the home of Dayclan. The regime was tired, and it came as no surprise to him that most of the Dayclan cats he could see now looked to be feeling the same as they were.
Cadet Coriander stayed near the tykes as they traveled, urging them on as they began to grow weary and slow down. "You'll be able to rest soon, I promise." Her tone was soft ad motherly despite her age, she was a natural when it came to caring for the young, it was precisely why she choose to train as a raiser.
Mistletoe-tyke and Asiago-tyke walked alongside Cadet Coriander, their paws dragging and heads low. "Are we almost there?!" came the harsh voice of the black she-cat, Mistletoe was not happy about having to leave their home though she also didn't fully understand what exactly had happened to cause it.
Fuzzyheart's pelt stood on end watching Renegade Regime casually walk in. Honestly he had no idea how these Dayclanners put up with this kind of disrespect. They smelled weird, earthy even, and who knows where they've been in those tunnels. But he lived in DayClan so this was just how they were, chummy. Fuzzyheart pushed himself off, his one right eye offering a bored expression to the new comers, but decided to keep his fur smooth and tail lowered, there was no sense in causing a fight. He walked over to Ignatius, "Hi, I'm Fuzzyheart, I used to be a league cat and I used to be in Absum Lux, And SpringClan. So I relate to having to move around.
Sugary sweet laughter spilled through the air and into the ears of Renegade Regime, "Well well well, didn't see you coming, but I'm glad you did," Her angelic voice purred. From beyond the lavender shades of wisteria branches that waved like curtains was the wisteria throne made up of bracken and a cushion of moss. Glowstar pushed up her face with her paws to get a look at them as the occasional wisteria branch would block the Regime's view of her, "Commander, please, come sit on the throne, we're both leaders here," She pleaded, her smile teasing, yet her eyes stared into Gossamers adoringly.

Kaisra didn't really look at Glowstar as they arrived. She still hadn't forgotten what the first mother she knew had said when she'd visited moons ago. That she couldn't be happy for her. If time healed all wounds, then, well, she needed a bit more. Rather, she looked for her siblings, for Duskslayer or maybe Cinnamonsavage. The former usually hung out in SunClan, but she hoped to see the latter around here at the very least. It had been too long since she'd visited. As much as she wasn't certain she wanted to be here, she was happy for the opportunity to catch up with those she cared about.
Shule, for her part, looked only irritated as she followed the Commander. Since this whole flood and prophecy business, she'd realized something. If nothing else, the Regime tunnels clearly weren't up to par. Thoughts of the potentials swirled in her mind, thoughts that largely drowned out the fact that they were apparently rooming in DayClan with her sister-in-law for the time being. Not preferable, but she sort of threw up her paws and gave up. Clearly, Gossamer Alessandra didn't care about the Regime, this was all a game. So she'd just have to play it until she could get the feline out. It was a definitive shift to her, though it might not look much from the outside. There was a new sort of spark behind her eyes that wasn't there before, ridding her of an appearance of total stoicism. Much like her daughter though, when they stepped inside, the Mercenary Superior looked around for her kits. She'd made it a point to visit, or leave little gifts of things like prey occasionally for them. Even if she was busy, she'd wanted them to know she cared.
The white tom looked up at the greeting, his deep amber eyes trying to analyze the tom, but he was just too tired. "Hello, my name is Ignatius, I would say its good to meet you but considering the circumstances it just doesn't seem the right thing to say." It didn't help he didn't want anything to do with the other groups, but he had no choice now that he wasn't on his own any longer. "I'm used to moving about, I was a loner before I joined the Regime, but I can say I am not used to doing it with others." He let his gaze move across the ranks of the Regime before returning to Fuzzyheart. "Are you what they call a warrior?" He knew nothing of the ranking system in the clans, having just recently memorized his own, Guider Superior.
Gossamer found her eyes trail to Glowstar's, and once again, she was immediately fascinated by the she-cat. The way that she held herself, the vibes she gave off, they were all very interesting to her. On one hand, she'd now come to know enough about the DayClan leader to know that she was probably trouble. On the other, trouble was Gossamer's middle name. She caught the adoring gaze of the other, and her own eyes filled with delight. If nothing else, this was going to be fun. Her lips twitched into a smile, her head tilting slightly. "I didn't expect to be here so soon, no, but the alternative was unpleasant at best," she meowed as she strutted over to the leader.
She blinked, before finding her way next to the leader. "I do hope that you don't mind our little coming? Out of all of the forest, I figured you would be most hospitable to us while our tunnels dry out. But, if I was wrong," she tipped her head, as if she was considering the impossible, "if I was wrong I suppose we can make ourselves sparce. It's just oh so cold in those damp tunnels, and honestly, Glowbeam, there's something about drowning when I sleep that really just makes me sad to think about. Especially when my cats fought so valiantly, to make them go home and die still while the other clans are safe from the flood..." her voice trailed, and she sniffed. "That just doesn't seem to great to me."
"That's interesting, when I was a kit I dreamed that I would die saving someone from drowning, but ultimately could not save myself and fall off a waterfall to my demise. The water hitting me like concrete and the water moving around me like two-leg hands gripping and pulling me under to sleepy darkness. You wouldn't want that? Huh. Well anyways, of course you can stay, I have family in your group you know as well as a few ex DayClan members. We were in an alliance for years not many moons ago so don't worry about such things."
Glowstar caught Kaisra's eyes, a look of shame crossing her expression, but went away rather quickly, "How about your scouts assist my warriors in finding nesting material for everyone?
"Heh, yeah I'm a warrior right now, but soon I'll be joining the bright brigade," Fuzzyheart purred, "It's where only the most elite warriors go, you get a lot of amenities, special mission opportunities. Right now I'm just trying to prove myself. But it won't be much longer now, I basically have got the warrior code memorized now and I haven't attempted to murder anyone at the border for moons! I'll be promoted in no time, rest assured. What about you? Don't tell me your a raiser."
A ghost of a shadow played at the white toms lips as Fuzzyheart spoke, he seemed very sure of himself and where he was going, much like himself though he couldn't relate the the whole attempted murder thing. "God no, I'm not a raiser, I prefer to keep my distance from the littles." It was true, though the tom was father to two soon to be littles. "I'm the regime's Guider superior." It was still a bit of a mystery on how he got the position after only being in the Regime a short time, but he happily accepted the commanders offer when it was made.
"I'm sure I still have some scouts somewhere in this group." Myst mewed from.. no where.. Before appearing in front of the throne and grinning up at his sister and Glowstar. The scout superior glanced around, really unsure who had made it through the battle as he himself had skirted the edges picking off strays, ensuring the safety of the medicine cats, and helping the wounded where he could. "I just need to find ones that weren't seriously injured but I'm available for patrols as needed." He was speaking to both of the cats, seemingly taking his job with the regime seriously for once. Hopefully Shule was watching, he still needed to soften that she cat up a bit.
Genesis watched her kin with.. was that approval? They'd managed to pull together and get a group through a pretty rough patch. While she still didn't hold an official position within the regime she'd hung around with her niece and nephew if only because she had nothing better to do. The former Heda mewed across the gap, "I'm healed, tag me in if needed Myst." Which got her a nod of acknowledgement. She was beginning to think she'd make her home with the regime if things kept going the way they were.

"Oh, so you're like a medicine cat apprentice," Fuzzyheart said thoughtfully, "My aunts family was a part of a long generation of Shaman, while my mom wanted her side of the family to be a long generation of leaders, but that never really works out for any league cats."
Glowstar's eyes danced in amazement, "Myst, look at you, here again in the flesh, what a pleasure," She smiled as she stood up and walked closer to him before giving him a short nuzzle, "It's good to see your face again. A patrol would be lovely, Zephyrglade can join you, unfortunately are apprentices are lacking since ceremonies aren't for another week so our task force is a little low for the time being."
Myst dipped his head, of course flashing a bright smile at the leader. "Glowstar the pleasure is always mine. And might I say you're looking radiant! Happiness is treating you well." He tossed the leader a wink before glancing up at his sister. "I'm glad to see you and my sister playing so nice though." He glanced at Goss still up on the leaders perch.
"Oh?" She asked looking between the two, a smile slipping across her lips as she narrowed her eyes as though pretending to begin to see the similarities before tilting her head, smile still present, "Ha, I guess I just don't see the resemblance. But yes, Gossamer is my best friend, we decided that in the first hour we met so it's basically past our two week anniversary at this point."
"Don't feel bad." He assured the leader with another smile, "She takes after our grandmother while I favor my grandfathers side in most things." His blue eyes were an oddity that had come from his grandmothers sister but since Enigma had them no one had questioned it. "I'm glad to hear you like her so much, I think she's pretty great as well." He winked at his sister before glancing around the rag tag group they'd forced from the tunnels. They looked half drowned and completely starved, "I'm going to head out on a hunt. Ya'll don't have to much fun without me." And with that he bounded off, Genesis getting to her paws ad following the younger tom.
"Oh hey wait!" Glowstar called, but he was already gone. She looked around her and found her grandson, Zephyrglade.
"Zephyrglade, please assist Myst in anyway he needs. He's in charge, but step in with some hunting advice about whatever territory you two travel to," Glowstar said and watched almost in panic as Zephyrglade almost instantly went after Myst, "Don't be like him and run off so fast. Go and give him this feather and tell him what it means. Now you may go."
Zephyrglade gave a teasing grin, "Yeah alright, no problemo," He said before racing off after Myst. It took him a few minutes to see Myst in his sights, "Hey, I'm here to help out with the hunt!" He called out after them. Truthfully he wasn't too great at hunting in this season. He had been a WaterClan warrior most of his life and to move from fishing to hunting had been difficult.
Myst slowed at the other tom's call, "That's a relief." He mewed, grinning as he stop his pace all together. "I had no clue where to go.." He'd spent some time in the clan, but that didn't mean he'd remembered the territory. He'd spent much of his time in camp fawning over Glowstar or running around other territories. "I'm Myst by the way." He offered Zephyrglade a friendly grin.
"Zephyrglade," He said in return before recollecting what Glowstar had given to him, "Hey, Glowstar wanted me to give you this," He said, holding out a wispy feather in his hands. It didn't look real, there were artificial colors painted on with intricate patterns and details, "It's a wispy feather, people who leave DayClan in good standing receive this feather so they can always return back home without any trouble or hassle at the border," He explained before adding with a bashful paw reaching behind his head, "Not that we particularly guard it. Anyways there's great prey at Everbleed Mountains, which by the way, it's just rugged land, but the mountains are too bad. But it's dangerous to hunt there because of the massive predators so if you're up for a challenge that's where I'd head over to."
