Cannalily was beside herself with grief. Her mate, Larkwing, had gone missing. All of her free time not spent doing clan duties were spent running herself ragged, trying to find any ounce of evidence that Larkwing was in Clan territory. She'd made very little progress, obviously, but she was working herself sick just trying. Every time she'd gone on patrol and met another Clan's patrol she begged for any and all information but still got nowhere.
Currently, she was resting in the Warrior's den. Her body ached. Her heart ached. Every single part of her very existence screamed pain. She couldn't lose Larkwing. Not after everything she'd already lost. This couldn't keep happening to her, could it?
Echomelody had noticed how depressed Cannalily had been since Larkwing had mysteriously gone missing. The tuxedo she-cat was thinking about going out for a hunt and wondered if Cannalily would feel up for one. Perhaps it would get her mind off of things. Echomelody made her way over to the warrior's den, a look of sympathy on her black and white face. She poked her head into the den and saw the mound of white fur of Cannalily in the far back of the den. "Cannalily?" She called in. "Would you like to go on a hunt with me?"
Beetleflight had been looking for Echomelody, and his ears pricked up and his eyes lit up when he saw her. He made a beeline towards her slowing as he realized what she was doing, coming to a halt awkwardly in front of the cavern that made up the warriors den.
Then he figured he'd better say something rather than lounge around awkwardly. "Yeah! Squirrelleap mentioned there's like a mice nest or something, or there's some owls we could try to ambush if we're feeling dangerous." He suggested... Then realized that was challenges better suited for the likes of Squirrelleap or his son Umbrahound. "Or, or, there's some really pretty frost patches on the waterfall, they sparkle in the starlight." He offered.

Cananlily slowly looked up and over at Echomelordy and Beetleflight. Had she heard them right? A hunt? It would be the perfect time to scout the territory for any signs of her love.
"Alright...." Cannalily said, wincing as she came to her feet. Everything in her body screamed for her to rest, but there was no time to rest. Besides, some food might do her good. She padded over to the other cats. She looked dead tired.
Echomelody nodded to Beetleflight. Those were good suggestions but Cannalily couldn't really do much. "Why don't the three of us go out together?" She suggested. "We could go for a walk and head for the waterfall and if we see any prey on the way, we can hunt." That sounded like a good plan to Echomelody but she wanted to be sure everyone else was on bored with her idea.

The waterfall! She hadn't checked there in at least two days. That would be a start.
"Okay. The waterfall." Cannalily confirmed. The entirety of her body ached, but if it was for searching for her beloved, she'd push herself beyond her limitations.
