Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
racer (anyone is welcome to join in on this, these three are here to join Sunclan, Delphyne and Zamenis are apprentice age, and Epictetus is warrior age and will be an initiate)
They had been traveling for days, one longer than the others, but at last they had come across a border that told them they had reached a group of cats with whom they would attempt to join. Epictetus was the oldest of the three, carrying much more experience and despite his standoffish air and flat out disinterest for others he somehow ended up taking two scraps under his paw, they were young and the fact that they were still impressionable helped to persuade him into allowing the two to tag along. He gave them names and while he was not their family in any way he had become their guardian. "Keep up or I will leave you behind!." His voice was rough as he barked the order, not bothering to look back as he pushed forward.
Delphyne rolled her eyes but made no comment as the older toms words reached her, she was tired and their short breaks had given her no time to properly groom her long pelt. Still she looked up to Epictetus and quickened her pace until she was trotting just behind him, his words were her law and she had come to learn that he was not one to disobey. "Are we getting close at least? It was obvious they had crossed some cats border but she had not paid enough attention to notice the change in scent.
Zamenis was at the rear, keeping a steady pace and making sure he did not get too close to the tom who was leading them, unlike his half sister, he was not overly fond of Epictetus. Zamenis was a moon older than Delphyne, but he was smaller and less confident, it was only because of her that he was here now being ordered around by this jerk, although Epitictetus had taken them in and possibly saved them, he found himself more afraid than grateful and they all knew it. "I smell strange cats, what if they attack us?" He had caught the scent markers at the border, and instantly his mind began to race with fear as his emerald eyes darted back and forth for any signs of the owners tot his land.

SUNCLAN HIGH PRIESTESS
"You best think carefully before take another step" came a demanding voice that echoed across the clay landscape, as a small long-fur gray she-cat stepped out into the sun. They symbol of a fire in oranges, reds, and yellows danced upon her forhead, it's tendrils traveling down her body to form intricate deigns from tip of her ears to the end of her tail. Even though she small for an adult, she looked magnificent and even to those who did not understand SunClan's ways would assume that she was a cat of great importance. "You are about to walk onto sacred SunClan land, if you cross over that line without permission, I shall be forced to act"
Her golden gaze looked over the three cats, taking in the sight before her. One adult and two young cats that might be old enough to be considered apprentices. She gracefully leaped down from her perch, gliding over the landscape effortlessly "alternatively you may remain where you stand, and tell me what business you have here" The three cats looked rather scraggly and haphazard, a sure sign they had been traveling. They were not clan cats, of the much she was sure.
Epictetus stopped with one paw in the air, his forest green eyes on the grey she-cat in an instant, her voice echoed around them and the confidence in her form told him she belonged here and was possibly of importance; he would need to be cautious if they were to get on her good side. "I'm terrible sorry, we have been traveling for quite awhile and this is the first we've come across the scent of others." He looked back at his companions, warning them to remain silent before turning back to Littlestar. "My name is Epictetus, the three of us are looking for a home." He had taken in her warning and remained where he was, his demeanor towards the she-cat much different than his normal.
Startled by the commanding voice, Delphyne froze briefly before running closer to Epictetus' side, keeping her mouth closed to let him do the talking while keeping her curious filled golden eyes on Littlestar. Her pelt was in a tattered state, but there was still an air of confidence coming from the young she-cat, much different than the young tom that stood a few paces back.
Zamenis was shaking where he stood, not daring to move or speak after the look he was given, only his emerald eyes moving back and forth between Littlestar and the ground, his pelt was ragged but not due to lack of grooming, it always stood out like this, covering his thin frame and doing nothing to hide the vibrations of his fear.

SUNCLAN HIGH PRIESTESS
"If a home is what you seek, than perhaps I can help with that. This land belongs to SunClan. We are a group of cats that have been blessed by the Sun God, those chosen to serve him. He will welcome those that come here with an open mind and pure intentions to come and learn of our ways. If you prove yourselves worthy of his blessing and believe in him, than he shall welcome you as one of his chosen. However, this path is not an easy one. Once you being this journey, there is no backing out. So think carefully about my offer before you agree to come with me" it was both an invitation and a warning to those that sought to join their ranks. Many had died in the attempt to become a member of SunClan. She moved forward lightly placing her small paws on the tom's chest "The Sun God knows what lies within your heart. You might be able to hide your secrets from me, but he will peer into the darkest corners of your soul and enlighten you"
Epictetus kept his muscles relaxed as her paw fell upon his chest, this sun god sounded like a tough cookie, but he was not weak himself and was always up for a good challenge. He was in search of a home and the she-cats words intrigued him, which was a shock to him as he normally could care less either way. "If I accept, will the younger two be looked after?" He hated to admit it, but after being with them for so long a small part of him didn't like the thought of all his hard work being wasted now.
Zamenis inched closer as Littlestar spoke, her words sent a shiver down his spine but he had never heard of such a thing as the sun god and suddenly his mind began to whirl as he pictured it. Feeling he should introduce himself, the young tom lifted his head, and spoke. "I'm Zamenis, I would like to join you please." He kept his eyes on the leader, knowing Epictetus would be angry he spoke, but perhaps he feel safer with others around. Delphyne stood silently still, her chest puffed out and eyes locked on Littlestar, not willing to speak until she was told to.

"The young ones will be taken in and welcomed as one of our own without condition and given a clan name. They will become apprentices, and given a SunClan warrior to teach them our ways just as all young SunClan are taught. They will learn our customs, stories, fighting, hunting, and traditions. My own children will become apprentices soon enough, and will be learning along side of them" she purred lightly, surprised by the young cats bravery "Zamenis, I admire your courage. SunClan would be glad to take you in as one of our own" she looked at the young she-cat and smiled "I hope that you too desire to join us, all you have to do is speak the words"
She turned to the older cat "If it is your wish to join us, you would become an initiate. You would study under our senators, the wisest members of of clans. They will teach you what it means to be apart of SunClan, and when you are ready you must pass a test of the soul before being given your SunClan name"
With his eyes still on Littlestar, Zamenis took a breath and moved further from his companions to stand with Littlestar, he was going even if they weren't; his mind was made up. "A new name." It was whispered but he liked the idea.
The older tom nodded to her in understanding, hiding his anger that Zamenis spoke out fore he gave permission even if he was slightly please at the compliment he gained from the stranger. "What say you, Delphyne?" He looked down at the she-cat beside him and urged her to speak.
"I'll go if Epictetus does." She was not afraid of the tom like her half brother, she adored him and was happy to follow his direction. She did like the aspect of finally having a home and being able to settle in one place, she was sick of traveling.
