Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Foxbane's morning started in chaos. Cats had powers, Funkkit seemed intent on riling everyone up, and the former Priestess suddenly understood why the Sun God didn't share.
But she didn't appear to have any powers. Not at first. It was only when an offhand thought struck her mind as she spotted Sydney, that she realized. I wish they'd just forget why they were here. It was an innocuous thing, but her fellow Senator stopped looking confused. A confusion that didn't seem to lift, as she mumbled something unintelligible, names of cats long gone falling from her lips as she suddenly ran off.
She simply sat there a moment, confused. That was a mere coincidence, right? So when Lastaffair and Zendikdominance walked by, Foxbane decided to see if it really was so coincidental. Tell Zendikdominance you love him. The fox-pelted feline directed the thought towards her daughter, and to her surprise, the she-cat did so instantly. "Hey, you know I love you right, Zendikdominance?"
It was such an unexpected thing that the black tom stopped to look at her in surprise, and Foxbane took that moment to slip away from her children.
The former Priestess didn't want this power. She didn't want any power, or trouble, and yet, she could feel it calling to her, tempting her just to see how far this mental manipulation could go.
