Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Medicine Cat Apprentice. To be quite honest, Ahava Vairocana found the designation rather amusing. Barely having joined, and without more than a very basic understanding of herbs as a whole, and already in the trade of a healer? Not to mention that she was most definitely older than her own mentor.
It was an interesting situation, but she'd accepted nonetheless, and she supposed it was time for a lesson, wasn't it? At least, she'd been told to expect lessons, and she was up early, waiting to begin. In the meantime, she had risen from her new nest in the den, peering at the stocks with mild curiosity, half-blind void gaze taking in the various scents and plants before her. So many, some she recognized as useful, but she couldn't place the name of more than one or two. The burn scar around her left eye rippled as she scrunched up her nose at a particularly pungent herb, before turning slightly to see if Turbulentsea was ready to begin.

TURBULENTSEA
THE CONFLICTED - NIGHTCLAN MEDICINE CAT
The black and white tom returned to his den carrying a bundle of small shiney black berried and ridged green leaves. The belladona and Hornbeam is what he had been using to treat Blazepaw since his mother's banishment. The young cat's spasms seemed worse than ever, and he had fallen into a deep depresion. Turbulentsea had recently moved him back into the apprentice's den hoping that his siblings might be able to cheer him up, but the young cat rarely moved from his nest.
With a sigh, he laid down the bundle trying to push his own doubts out of his mind. Had he really done the right thing in revealing Soaringstar's secret? As he looked up he saw the she-cat that he had taken on as his apprentice. Even looking at her now, he couldn't get the image that starclan had sent him out of his mind. Her eyes, it was something about her eyes. "Ah your awake" he murmured, placing the herbs back into place."How did you sleep?"

( I totally forgot about this thread, tbh. ^-^' )
She turned slightly, peering at the Medicine Cat as he arrived, scrutinizing the tom for a long moment before offering a short nod. "Well enough, given the unusual schedule this clan holds, and how unusual it is to be sleeping near another cat. It's been... a long time, since I've had so much company." Truly, she hadn't been surrounded by so many cats since kithood. At least, for a prolonged period. One could always find company in the city, but generally, you didn't stick around for long, and though the forests held many creatures, felines weren't so common to come across.

TURBULENTSEA
THE CONFLICTED - NIGHTCLAN MEDICINE CAT
"It will take some time for you to get used to life in NightClan, but once you have adjusted it will become like second nature" he almost couldn't imagine being awake during the day. The sun was far to bright, a far cry from the soothing nights that he was used to. "In the mean time, im sure you will be tired but you have a lot to learn" even though she may have been older than him, he had more knowledge when it came to healing and StarClan.
"We will be traveling to the moon creek soon to meet with the other medicine cats, or we could take our time. I would at least like to impart some of the baisic skills that you will need on to you before then"

"Then I suppose we should get started, shouldn't we? I know the looks and uses of a few of the most basic herbs, but I couldn't tell you the names, or if they have more uses than what I've found they helped with." Ahava didn't even try to disguise her ineptitude. Her knowledge was incredibly limited, probably the level of any clan cat, where you might know the name and use or look of a few, maybe a bit more, but certainly nothing that was useful beyond the most minimal need for it all.
