Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mistyrose said she was going out hunting, but she was never the honest type. Instead she was digging a hole near a bush and instead of hiding something inside of it she grabbed a long branch from a bush and pushed it into the hole and out the other side next to a wormwood bush before pushing the wormwood branch through the same hole. She carefully intertwined the branches around one another before covering up each end of the hole with a bit of dirt. It felt nice to be able to finally test out her theories about plants in a place that... Well wasn't WinterClan where it was entirely deprived of life and soil that could be dug this far. In theory these two bushes should be able to combine into one big bush that would have wormwood and lilac and their properties would mix together. This would hopefully create an herb that would cause numbing and sleep to a cat in pain. She imagined it would be a grey and misty purple looking plant, one easy for a future priestess to find and study. Or she could actually tell Littlestar and Bloodyrondo about it so they actually knew. Either way it turned out that horoscope was right, she did feel like being extra protective and the way she showed it was putting preventative measures in place. If they ever needed a good pain medication hopefully one would soon grow and not turn into a flesh eating bacteria that tried to wipe everyone out. But that probably wouldn't happen.

"Interesting" came a quiet voice from behind the old medicine cat, a voice that Mistyrose would have known all to well by now. Littlestar had been watching her work, only now making presence known as she leaned in over the she-cat's shoulder her long grey fur brushing against Mistyrose. As much experience as she had in herbs, she had never seen anyone plant two of them at the same time. She blinked, curiosity overtaking her overriding the normally respectful distance that she provided to others. A purr rumbled in her throat "Wormwood and lilac?" she questioned as the scents reached her nose
"Yes, I combine the two and then they should breed and gain traits from one another. One day the bushes will intertwine at the center and a new herb will be made from it," Mistyrose explained, "This will be the ultimate painkiller grown only in SunClan. Once the first of it blooms I'll take seeds and spread it so wildfires cannot take them all out."
She turned back around to look at Littlestar, "It's nice to be around someone I can talk about my hobbies with, I noticed that Mountainsound also used to be a past medicine cat, she's blind too, it's always nice to meet someone who also struggles a bit more than most medicine cats. I don't think I ever told you that I can't hear out of my left ear, but my right eye is is like super vision, I think all my senses went to that right eye."

"If it works, we should take some of the seed to the Ceremony Springs" she commented, just enjoying the scent of the herbs, she had always been a fan of lilac. When she had first started her training under Foxbane, it had been one of the first herbs she had learned. The scent was distinctive, and so very different from anything she had found in WinterClan. "I'm sure the Janus would enjoy the chance to cultivate a new herb" she paused listening to Mistyrose's words before continuing "Don't allow Mountinsound to hear you say that" she chuckled, flicking her fluffy tail to the old medicine cat's shoulder "Mountainsound is wise, experienced, and proud. Sometimes I feel as if her blindness has only enhanced her abilities, rather than hinder them. If she heard you say that she had struggled, she wouldn't hesitate to cuff you around the ear"
“Mountainsound is one of the few cats I can say that I genuinely feel is adequate,” Mistyrose said in what was probably a compliment. She looked a little uncertain, “Truthfully here is so much easier to live, I’ve had more time to be lazy and feel bad about myself for not getting up till noon. Y’know in WinterClan it was constant, gotta look for a lost kit, someone got injured during an avalanche, camp must be cleared out, have to always journey to other clans to find herbs, training apprentices, watching kits. It’s a lot less work now. Although Handsome and I will probably be expecting soon. It’s been really hard keeping my paws off him lately,” She purred, “Which yeah, good heads up, I have lots of litters of kits. It’s annoying now that I have to actually take care of them, but it’s fine, I’ll live.”

Littlestar couldn't help but purr "Kits are always welcome in SunClan. A blessing" she couldn't help but be happy for her friend. Not only was getting pregnant a big deal in SunClan, but the more kits the clan had the better. They had plenty of resources, and even some times went out seeking more kits to bring back into the clan. After all kits are the future of the clan, the ones that continue on your legacy long after you are gone.
"If you can't keep your paws off of each other now, that will only get worse in the near future" she laughed lightly thinking about the romance festival "SunClan has a...unique... festival thats whole intention is to encourage our members to bring new kits into the clan"
