SHADOWPAW
THE WORD WEAVER - SUNCLAN APPRENTICE
The moon was at it's highest peak in the sky, and yet a figure stirred just beyond the MoonClan border. It was unusual to see SunClan cats out so late at night, but Shadowbard couldn't resisit the draw of the moon. Even though the moon goddess was the enemy of the Sun God, it's beauty this night had inspired him. He stared at the pale moon orb, as he began to speak. His words were sing-songy as her began to form some resemblance of a song
"The moon is high this night bathing us in it's bright light, The goddess watches over her dark daughters in fields of clover.
The sun god sleeps, while his children weep. Waiting on the light of tomorrow"
Lunarwhisper had decided to take a solo hunt. So far it had been one disaster after another. Two mice ran away and a rabbit bit her shoulder. She had been stalking a vole when she was interrupted by a song of sorts. The vole unsurprisingly ran away. At least this time it wasn’t her fault. It was a wonder how she had ever managed to become a warrior. It was probably sheer determination and a bit of pity. Regardless she still would defend her clan.
“Who’s there?” She tried to sound somewhat threatening. Perhaps she could scare off this SunClan intruder by looks instead of fighting. However when she stepped out of the shadows and saw it was only an apprentice she called down a bit. This cat was young and probably just curious, no harm in letting him learn something. Especially if he ended up learning the truth about Selene, the Moon Goddess.
