STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Stridesplash peered over the boarder into MoonClan, enjoying the view of the sun setting over the land. Most of SunClan had already returned back to camp for the evening prayers, but he couldn't resist some last minute hunting. Prey was scarce this leaf-bare, and his clan needed every bit of food that he could catch. He had already managed to catch a rabbit and a vole, but if he could catch something else before it got dark that would mean one more queen that could be fed. Tearing his gaze away from the senery, he dropped into a hunter's crouch when he heard some rustling on the other side of the boarder, While he wouldn't steal prey from MoonClan, if it crossed the boarder it was fair game
Phoenixpaw had decided to go out hunting on his own, deciding to do anything at all was his first mistake. Too caught up in trying to find any sort of prey the foolish young tom wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, and didn't see the two-leg trap that had been set up for whatever reason two-legs did anything, until it was too late. One wrong step and the poor thing was strung up by one of his hind legs, danging upside down from a tree with only a startled noise of distress.
the dark brown tom flailed in the air, trying to adjust to take some of the weight off the leg that was holding it up, in fear that it would dislocate but, nothing helped, rather it only made it worse. It was then he spotted the black and white tom just over the border. "Help me please!" he called desperately to the tom. He had no idea how long it would be before some other cat found him, this SunClan cat was his best chance.

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Almost there... Almost there... Stridesplash was only a few whiskeres lengths away from the bird he had been stalked, wen suddenly he heard a scream followed by cat going flying up into the air. He scrambled backwards, wide eyed in wonder. Since when did MoonClan cats learn how to fly?
When faced with such a thing, he was about to turn tail and run until the apprentice's screams for help helped him to realize that this cat wasn't flying. In fact, they were in trouble. Blinking he took in the site as the brown twoleg vine that was wrapped around his leg. His gaze followed it to where it had been looped around the tree. He stood to help, but stopped as he neared the border. He had never crossed over the border before, other than to go to gatherings "Are you sure the Moon God won't strike me down" his one ear that stood up, bent back against his head in suspcion "Its just like a MoonClan cat to try and lure a SunClan cat over with such trickery"
Phoenixpaw flailed desperately trying to reach the brown vine that had wrapped around his leg but wouldn't come free. The young tom did his best to bite back the terror in his voice, as he grew more and more uncomfortable as the blood drained to his head.
"In case you hadn't noticed, I'm in no position to attack you, and how can Selene strike you down during the day? The sun is out. Please! I just want to get down!" the dark brown tom was not known for being craven but, in the current situation he really did show his age. Being the last of of his litter mates still around he was really living up to his immortal theory, though even he had to admit this was pushing it.

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
The white and black tom tilted his head, one of his ears flopping down and oflding over itself. He made a good point, but the sun god could still punish at night. So why couldn't the moon god smite him during the day? He narrowed eyes on the young cat, trying to decide "Very well, but if this is some sort of trick I am going to drag you with me" he warned, placing one foot over the border as if testing to see if it really was trick. Looking around for some sign that this wasn't what it appeared to be. Were moonclan warrior lurking around in the under brush? We the Moon God going to send down a meteor? or whatever it was that the moon god did as punishment.
Satisfied that nothing was amiss, he finally bounded over, and began climbing up the tree. "Just hold on a little longer" It wasn't something that he had done a lot of in SunClan, and looked rather clumsy doing so. Once he had made it to the branch, he lowered his muzzle and began to chew on the vine, but stopped just as it got thin enough to break "I'm going to try an lower you, so don't struggle" He grasped it between his, and used his claws to break it in the weak spot. The apprentice's weight pulling him forwards without the support of the tree. He took one step forward, then another. Each one taking the apprentice closer to the ground.
Just as he neared the edge of the branch, he heard a snap, then suddenly there was nothing below his paws. Letting out a yowl of surprise he dropped the vine, as he fell towards the earth. Luckily he wasn't that high up for a warrior, but it still hurt as his shoulder slammed into the ground, narrowly missing the apprentice he had been trying to help
Unable to correct himself the brown tom slammed into the ground forcing the air from his lungs. He let out a panicked gasp. Struggled and failed to inhale for a few moments that felt like a life time for him.
Maplestar pushed her way through the bushes, She had been out... well... playing again when she heard screaming in the distance. She was almost certain it was coming from within her own boarders but, she drew closer and closer to the SunClan boarder and still no sign of the cat in distress. Honestly she wasn't sure if she should help or not if it was a SunClan cat in distress, something told her they wouldn't exactly be grateful if she did help them. She was not however, expecting to find a SunClan cat inside her territory with an obviously injured apprentice.
"What did you do to him!? the small golden cat hissed rushing over to put herself between Phoenixpaw and the warrior... who was... getting up?

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Stridesplash, scrambled to his paws as Maplestar pushed through the bush, keeping his right leg off the ground to keep his injured shoulder from hurting "I thought you said you there were no other Moonclan cats around" his blue eyes were so focused on the apprentice that now was hiding behind another cat. He rolled his eyes, sitting down and forcing his fur to lie flat after the fall and suddenly being faced by yet another enemy
"I knew I should just let him hang there, mouse-brained apprentice" he cursed under his breath before finally looking up at the smaller she-cat that stood before him. He had to admit that she wasn't bad looking for a moonclan cat, but not exactly what he had been expecting. Weren't Moonclan cats supposed to be silver or black? He sighed "I'll have you that I just saved this mouse-brains leg, and probably his life along with it, but i'll be on my way now. I didn't want to be here anyway....Your welcome" This was obviously a trap the whole time, and now that he had a clan-mate to assist him he needed to go home. He turned to head back to SunClan, but as his paw pressed against the ground it illicited a pained hiss. Forcing him to jerk it upwards once more. It was going to be a long journey back.
"hung there?" the she-cat echoed, the confusion clear on her face as she looked between Stridesplash and Phoenixpaw. It was only then she noticed the brown vine tied around the young cat's leg and the splinters that littered the grown from the fallen branch. "Oh... I see..." Try as she might the small cat couldn't keep herself from laughing, having to go as far as to cover her mouth with her paws as she tried to smother her laughter at the mental image alone. She was going to let the black and white tom go home without an argument, it was clear he meant no ill will and was just having a bad day.
It wasn't until he heard him hiss in pain that she stopped giggling, suddenly growing more serious. "You're hurt." she remarked, hurrying to the warrior, only after making sure Phoenixpaw was well enough to stand on his own. "Go back to camp, I'll look after you as soon as I'm done here." She told the brown tom, who just nodded and walked off stiffly.
"You can't walk can you?" She asked Stridesplash sniffing the shoulder that he was favoring. Due to the lack of medicine cats in the clan currently, the responsibility of treating her clan-mates had fallen on her shoulders, that seemed to happen a lot these days.

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Great... Just what he needed, a cute she-cat laughing at his misfortune. Why couldn't things ever just go his way? As she rushed to his side, he let out a huff trying to pull away from her "I'll be fine" he protested, not wanting to embarrass himself further. He had come here on a rescue mission, and ended up with a banged up shoulder. He should have just him there and called it day. This cat would have found him eventually, and then they wouldn't have ended up in this situation.
"Its just bruised" although that was clearly not the case. He couldn't put any weight on it, and it was at an odd angle. More than likely the brunt trauma of slamming into the ground had popped the joint out of it's socket. At worse a hairline fracture. Either way walking on his own was going to be painful, for he would have to try hobbling on three legs and keeping the injured one of the ground. His muscles already screaming at having to keep it in the air.
He hobbled forward a step wincing as the movement jarred his shoulder "Thank you for your concern, but shouldn't you be seeing to that apprentice. He his head rather hard. It would be ashamed if he fell asleep and died after all that I did to save him"
"If he'd hit his head from that height he would of likely been knocked unconscious, I don't think he's at risk of dying in his sleep, maybe a few bruised ribs but the shock from the experience will numb his pain until he gets to camp. I can't very well send his savior hobbling off injured now can I?" She gave him a smug look only for a moment before turning her attention back to his shoulder. "Lay down so I can get a better look." she stood on her hind paws, barely taller than the tom was at a sitting height. With her fore-paws, she gently pressed on his flank in a very weak attempt to knock him over on his side. "I promise I won't bite, come on it'll be quick."

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Stridesplash peered nervously over her shoulder, before glancing back to the moonclan border. They were only a few tail lengths away, so if this was all just a ruse he could always scream for help. He opened his mouth to protest further, but they tiny paws pushing at his flank unbalanced him to cause him to fall. Purely out of instinct, it caused his paws to flail to catch himself. He yowled, rolling over to where his injured shoulder was up off the ground "I suppose you didn't promise not to push" he huffed
Seriously? Now he had been taken down by she-cat barely half his size. He almost asked himself what else could go wrong, but surely asking that would only be tempting fate. "Go ahead then, do what you must"
Maplestar chuckled at the dramatic tone in the warrior's words. "Aren't SunClan warrior's supposed to be big bad cats who could eat a MoonClan cat for lunch?" she teased as she strolled a few feet away, her eyes scanning the ground. Picking up a stick she padded back over to the tom dropping the stick by his mouth and going back to his shoulder. "You might want to bite down on that" she told him. "Sorry but, I don't have poppy seeds." She lightly applied pressure to his shoulder, trying to feel the joint, it looked like it was just dislocated. She purred in delight that it was something simple. "It's not broken" she announced clearly excited. Turning her attention back to his shoulder, with a look of pure and utter determination, in one quick sure movement she shoved the joint back into it's socket. All while trying to pin the tom down with her other paw so he didn't move.

STRIDESPLASH
THE NOBLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Stridesplash wrinkled his nose in disgust "Who would want to eat a MoonClan cat? I'm sure you would taste awful. Defeat, yes. Eat, no" SunClan wanted nothing to do with MoonClan, so the though of trying to eat one of them was rather unappealing. He stared at the stick, before finally taking it between his jaws, the pit in his stomach only becoming heavier and heavier. He had only ever been told to bite on a stick once before, and it had hurt. Without anything pain he knew he would be in for a treat.
Sure enough, as she popped the joint back into place, he bit down on the stick snapping it with a loud crack he claws digging into the ground. He nearly shot upwards, and it was only through sheer will power that he didn't send the little she-cat flying.
The golden she cat backed off quickly when she felt the tom jerk underneath her. "Shh... you're okay, it's okay" she reassured him quietly, her voice trembling ever so slightly as if she suddenly realized the size advantage this cat had over her. He seemed harmless enough but, one on one the odds were definitely against her. Forcing herself to relax she perked up stepping closer to the black and white cat. "There that wasn't so bad was it?" she teased. "How does it feel now? better? It might be a bit sore but it should feel better in a few moments."
