Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
This has taken far too long for me to create, but here I am making it now. I have been without a deputy since just before the move. I've been leader of MoonClan for long enough and plan on stepping down within a month or two of this tryout's completion. Prior experience as leadership of a Clan is very important this time because of that. Please do not tryout in you're not willing and able to take over as a leader within that time. Depending on the number of tryouts, these will likely go on until the 30th.

Username ; francxs Activity in MoonClan ; none, this would be the first cat that im adding to moonclan Activity in general ; a median amount, im not always on to post new threads because ive yet to come up with new cats, and im mostly on mobile at work or school (i check messages/ new threads), but when on my laptop im making threads and plotting Previous experience ; Ive been on the site (or the old site rather) for maybe over five years? Ive lead the dark forest (im THAT old), springclan, iirc, summerclan and winterclan (i was at least deputy for both at one point) and ive been numerous mcs. Experience with coding ; Im mostly familiar with the coding from my flight rising days, im gonna have to just get back into the swing of it honestly but its not super hard for me. How will your cat mesh with the current team ; Im not sure! Reedtwist is a diplomatic cat, kind where he needs to be, but not soft. I still need to get to know him better. Cat's name ; Reedtwist Cat's bio ; Swift by foot and tongue, Reedtwist found his way into moonclan not unlike others before him. He doesn't speak of his past much, not entirely sure of it all himself, but happily began his future in the light of the moon. If one were to see him in the light of day he appears to have a chocolate shine about him, but in the darkness he is invisible, his wispy green eyes and small white toe tips being the only things shimmering in the night. Invisible as well, or at least to most, the tom does have a slight limp in his back leg, not inhibiting his abilities, but causing his gait to be slightly off center. Because of this he rarely goes out among others when the moon is fully swollen, hiding away to muse about future plans in his nest, or gathering to share tongues with clanmates while his lame leg is tucked under him. As a talker he is reserved, but does enjoy the company of others. He prefers to make a few close friends and many acquaintances, but not too many where his secrets are no longer able to be called secrets. For those special few though, he is comfortable to share his story with.

Username: Hollypaw Activity in MoonClan: 0 atm (but i can add some cats to the clan) Activity in General: Uh, between 0-10? about a 7 (I compulsively check to see if there is something for me to reply to) Experience: I've lead WaterClan and SunClan in the past. Exp with Coding: I know basics in HTML How Will This Cat Mesh With The Current Team: I feel like she'll get along well with them, though she's a new cat so I can't for sure say what she'll do when I start playing her. Car name: Burntwing Bio: Burntwing is a ginger she-cat with amber eyes. Her fur is long, and while there are some stripes of darker ginger fur, most notably is is her white chest, which is a tad bit longer than the rest of her body, and her white paws. Her name wasn't always Burntwing-- or even Burntkit or Burntpaw -- but Smoke. She was a loner for the first bit of her life before settling in a clan that seemed friendly enough. By that time, she was nearly the age of an apprentice close to finishing their training. Instead of being made an apprentice, since she had enough experience hunting and fighting for herself, she was made a Warrior. Though she would've preferred to keep 'smoke' as apart of her name, she respected the Leader's choice in changing it to Burntwing. When she first joined, and she was still learning the warrior code, she found someone she could love but they were outside the clan and she desprietly hoped they would choose to join her clan so she wasn't breaking any rules, but alas, that didn't happen. She was moody for a few moons before eventually moving on and forsaken taking a mate. Maybe sometime in the future that would change, but for now, she's happy being single and childless. She isn't hard to read, if you know her. But for complete strangers it's difficult to get a read on why she made the choices she'd made, and what motivates her. It's sometimes hard to see what emotions she's feeling, but she doesn't mind that she doesn't wear her heart on her chest.
Username ; chickadeepeony Activity in MoonClan ; 3-4 Activity in general ;5-6 Previous experience ; Summerclan deputy, Fallclan leader, I've had more but those are the most recent cx Experience with coding ; I consider myself pretty proficient in CSS and HTML, but I'm kind of shaky on JQ and Javascript, and pretty much anything with a J xD I don't expect that's super required though, at least I'm hoping it's not How will your cat mesh with the current team ; Okay, so honestly not very well, but since you mentioned you planned on stepping down soon I think that might actually end up being a really cool kind of plot? So I know you mentioned the fact that you wanted Wastedstar to stay alive after you leave Moonclan, and it could be interesting if maybe the reason why Wastedstar steps down and leaves Moonclan is because of Ranunculus.
So basically (and this will kind of be expanded upon when I actually bother to write her a quality bio) Ranunculus as I planned her is going to be a former rogue with a kind of mysterious past, but she makes it very clear that she thinks the clans are inferior not just skill wise (ie physically like with fighting and hunting) but also mentally. And she has the smarts and skills to kind of push her agenda, like she's got the intelligence to back up all the trash she talks. She's also clearly super power hungry and ambitious, and that is what could make Wastedstar think she could use Ranunculus for her own good.
What could make for an interesting plot is if Wastedstar made her deputy because Ranunculus sucks up to her and also Wasted thinks it would be great to try and manipulate and use this intelligent strategist who just waltzed into her clan, especially considering all the battles going on right outside their doors with Sunclan, Dayclan, and Nightclan, and Ranunculus (despite her arrogance and insults and superiority complex) also seems pretty friendly and willing to help with making Moonclan safe and protected against all those who might want to take them as their next target. But, and to make what could be a lot more intricate plot short, sweet, and to its bare bones, Wastedstar makes Ranunculus deputy and Ranunculus basically betrays Wastedstar and exiles her from her own clan.
So, to put it in really short, they won't get along very well but we could make something cool out of it cx
Cat's name ; Ranunculusphilosophy Cat's bio ; A large she cat, she stands proudly taller than the vast majority of larger cats, and by comparison makes anything less that average look like kits next to her. Her fur, long and thick, is calico with a naturally wild look to it, coming in waves like that of the ocean in appearance. That, all in contrast to her spring green eyes, that seem to just flicker and glint with the intelligence of their owner. A foreigner who speaks with the softest coo of an accent, she just joined one day and chose to lay not-very-low. It's rather apparent wherever she was from she considers it superior to the clans, but who knows where that is. But given some of the weird things she knows and the amazing things she can do, maybe it's smart to avoid going looking for a city of them. Her most physical feature is her polydactyl paw, apparently a trade-mark of the land she comes from.
