Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Frozenfire calls together Turbulentsea and Flamingsoul to meet in the wee hours of morning to discuss a revelation Turbulentsea had during Soaringstar's leader ceremony)
With Leafbare beginning to settle in, it stayed darker for longer, meaning Frozenfire had to wait all that much longer before her clanmates retired for the night, and she could meet with Turbulentsea and Flamingsoul in a hollow tree with leaf litter all around to help disguise their scents as well as provide advance warning if some cats should tread too near them and try to overhear.
Her eyes gleamed, after Turbulentsea had hinted that something was bothering him following Soaringstar's lives ceremony at the mooncreek, she'd pounced on it. Saying perhaps he needed to talk it over with a few cats, maybe even Flamingsoul especially if it involved the leader doing something... that concerned him. It was important to involve all levels of leadership.
She wondered if this was it, if this would be when she and Flamingsoul finally seized NightClan leadership. While yes Flamingsoul might become leader first. It was Frozenfire who helped get her where she was now, she'd made this happen and Flamingsoul had best not forget that. Hence why she'd called this meeting.
It would serve as a subtle reminder to Flamingsoul that while Soaringstar had been fool enough to pick her as her deputy, Frozenfire had maneuvered everything into place for her. And though it wasn't leader yet, deputy for now would suffice.
But she was getting ahead of herself, who knew if whatever Turbulentsea had learned was sufficient to depose Soaringstar? But the hope was enough to make Frozenfire put up with the bitter cold as she sat in the hollowed tree waiting for the other two to arrive.
Frozen fire had mentioned to Flamingsoul that Turbulentsea had something to say to them and that they were to meet at a specific place. Flamingsoul could hear the snores of her fellow classmates by the time the sun was peaking the horizon. Flamingsoul climbed out of her nest and passed the other warriors, careful not to wake any of them. Once she was free and clear, she bounded up the path in the cenote and out into the chilly forest. Her breath clouded at her muzzle as she raced through the forest toward the meeting place.
She slowed her pace once the hallow tree came into view. She gave a thorough scan of her surroundings and tasted the air to make sure she wasn't followed. She caught the scent of Frozenfire. She must have been able to sneak out of the nursery before she was able to sneak out of the warriors den. "Pssst. Frozenfire, its me" she whispered, slipping into the tree hollow. She didn't want Frozenfire to think she was someone else and have an eye clawed out.
Flamingsoul had been wise to announce herself as Frozenfire had tensed up one paw hovering off the ground ready to swipe, when she relaxed as Flamingsoul announced herself.
She huffed and set her paw down. "Took you long enough, now where's Turbulentsea," The light gray she cat muttered eyes narrowing in irritation. without Turbulentsea they'd get nowhere. "You should've seen him, could tell something was eating at him. Hopefully it'll be something good for us to take advantage of," She said with a chuckle. "I mean, be concerned of." She corrected.
After all turbulentsea was unaware of their real designs for NightClan, best not to let that slip.
"But as a medicine cat his duties may have kept him for longer than ours, but for starClan's sake i hope he gets here soon."
"I didn't see him. He must be finishing up something." She guessed. Then she grinned wickedly at Frozenfire's hint of their true plan. "If we can find something to make the clan turn on Soaringstar, I can become leader. I would make you my deputy but, uh, well, you seem pretty occupied at the moment."

About that time, a rustling of leaves could be heard in the distance as Turbulentsea made his way to their meeting place. The night air was cool and crisp, far colder than what he normally ventured out in. His thin fur offered little protection from the elements, and even now shivers wracked his thin frame. Unlike the other two cats, he was not used to having to sneak quietly. He was a medicine cat, and his skills in stalking and sneaking were a far cry from theirs. This was the third time that he had ventured out of his den, only to change his mind and return back without going to meet with them. He was conflicted... What Soaringstar had done was wrong. No one should steal kits, and yet he was also supposed to be an adviser to the leader when it came to starclan. How was he supposed to advise someone when he didn't have their trust? He had went back and forth over it, again and again since that day and he still hadn't made up his mind. He couldn't even bring himself to look her in the eye, knowing that she harbored such a secret. Where did his true duty lie? Should he carry the leaders secret? Should the clan know the truth? Was it his place to judge if the leader had done wrong by StarClan? so many questions and just didn't have the answers to them. Finally he worked up the courage to at least meet with Flamingsoul and hear them out. What harm could that do? Perhaps their words could help him figure out the right course of action.
