Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Griffinkit was known for keeping to herself, which is exactly what she was doing now. She had recently woken up (too early if you asked her). The sun was barely risen, and the same went for her eyelids. Griffinkit had tried to fall asleep again, but to no avail. She slid out of the nursery quietly to avoid waking anyone else up. She knows how annoyed she is being up this early in the morning and she doesn't want to inflict that on anyone else. She was a little hungry but it wasn't yet a strong feeling. She looked at the fresh-kill pile, that had a couple of things in it. She decided to wait a little bit, looking around for some way to spend her time.
"You're up bright and early, little one." A sudden voice piped up from behind the bored kit, accompanied by the amused smile of a black she-cat staring down at her. Tinybreath had always made a habit of waking up at the break of dawn to get a head-start on her warrior duties, though she hadn't expected to come across a sleepy kit at this time of the morning. "Would you like to join me for breakfast then, Griffinkit?" She asked, her voice soft and comforting. "You don't have to eat yet if you don't want to, but I'd certainly enjoy the company."
Griffinkit thought about the older she cat's offer for a second. It wouldn't hurt to eat now, would it? She simply nodded, not issuing a verbal reply. She wasn't huge on talking anyhow. At least, not when it isn't necessary.
Tinybreath let out a pleased purr in reply, gesturing with her tail for Griffinkit to follow as she turned and made her way towards the fresh-kill pile. It was a bit smaller than it had been a half-moon prior, though that could easily be blamed on the oncoming cold weather of Leafbare. The warrior rustled through the pile for a few moments, debating what to eat, before finally settling down with a plump and fluffy squirrel. She took a few bites as the kit settled in beside her, and the pair sat in the comfortable silence of the morning.
