( Newcomer wanting to join NightClan )
The tall feline stepped over the border, rubbing sleep out of her eyes. It was the middle of the night, only a few days after the full moon, and it's light bathed the snowy landscape as she stepped over the border. Why she was here, she couldn't exactly say. Her paws had led her here, amidst the rumors of a kit that fit the description of one of her own, and rumors of another who fit that of her mother. Ahava couldn't claim to be certain of anything, but perhaps it was time to settle. She knew the clans resided here, their scent clung to the land, though she didn't know which one she was currently on. Eyes darker than even the deepest of these midnight shadows, the feline wandered further in, moonlight catching the blind, scarred left eye, from a long healed burn. Even now, she could still imagine the pain of the flames searing her face at such a young age.

Firewind decided to do some night hunting alone. With the coming leafbare, the freshkill pile could use all the help it could get. So much had happened within the clan recently. He still couldn't believe he was chosen to be deputy. As he was following some prey scent, a different sort of smell impinged his nose. Gone were all the intentions of sneaking up on the prey he'd been following for what he smelled was the strange scent of an intruder. Creeping even more silently, he stalked the strange cat until he could see her. He had to know what she was doing on NightClan territory.

Cana glanced around as she walked, void gaze roving over the territory. She could feel the eyes on her before she located the culprit. It wasn't surprising, really. They were meant to be guarding their borders, and it was a rather sad thing that she'd managed to get so far. Once she caught the movement, she didn't hesitate to turn and head for them, the large she-cat blinking slowly as she neared. "Hello, could you tell me which clan or group I have stumbled on?" The she-cat questioned, ignoring the fact that it was rather unusual for intruders to simply wander up to those who owned the territory. Ah well, she wanted to talk anyhow, so what did it matter?

Firewind was taken aback by the boldness of this she cat and bit back the sharp challenge that had just been on the tip of his tongue. "NightClan," he replied, his fur was ruffled and his tail lashed behind him. He was curious about this she cat however. Most trespassers would just turn tail and run away if discovered but not this one. She intrigued him. "Where are you from and why are you here?" He stood his ground determined not to let her go any farther.
She nodded slightly, more to herself than anything. "NightClan." Cana hummed thoughtfully. The feline had only heard of the place in passing, though if the rumors were true, that meant she was in the right place. Well, relatively so. It was as good a place as any, she supposed, to settle into and begin her search. And that was the extent of her decision making. NightClan would suffice.
Oh, yes, he'd asked her a question. Origins, and reasoning. "I'm from nowhere that exists any longer. Nowhere you'd like to visit, even if it did." The burned wanderer answered, not that her reply answered much of anything at all. Really, it only created more questions. But there wasn't any good explanation she could give, so she left it as it was. "And I suppose I would like to speak to your leader."

Firewind narrowed his eyes as he looked at the strange she cat. Was this a trick of an enemy to get inside the camp to spy? He looked around and sniffed the air for any other strange cats or their scents. Satisfied they were alone, he spoke. "Very well," he growled, his tail still fluffed out. "Come with me." Her request suited him well. He'd keep a careful eye on her as they went back to camp. Flamingstar would sort out if she's harmless or not. "You got a name?" he asked. "I'm Firewind."
