Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( Private. strawberrycupidFaithJetclaw It's about time Funk, Glow, Fox, and Burning had a hangout thread. xD )
They'd all gotten the message to visit the White Tree at midnight two days from when the message had been delievered. Even Funk, all the way in Primal Instinct, had received and invitation, with directions in case he didn't know where the place was, for some reason. It was a random cat, and the message certainly didn't see to have any notable origin, at least that they could force out of the messenger. It didn't even disclose that there would be others in attendance, leaving each of these three to figure out it's meaning on their own.
Upon arrival, though snow blanketed the area, thick and already as tall as a cat from a recent storm, the space around the tree had been meticulously cleared. Freshly caught prey was nestled among the roots, and the area had been decorated for the occasion. Paint swirled through the snow and across the roots of the tree in vibrant patterns. Feathers and moss made warm places to sit, and the snow had been manipulated in an arc to block wind from getting into the area so easily. Strange herbs sat to the side, along with a few cute twoleg baubles and jewelry, and a small flower crown had been rested atop a section of root.
At first, there was no evidence of life, aside from Foxbane's very prevalent scent. But at a second look, the she-cat laid in a little 'room' built around the roots and out of snow, in a simple nest of moss, eyes closed, though her ears were pricked as she waited their arrival. To be quite honest, she wasn't sure if any of them would come, or stay for that matter, once they caught her scent. But she supposed she'd just have to wait and see.
(I am so glad I noticed this since I never look at pings xD)
Foxbane could see the auburn blaze of Glowstar's pelt making her way through the open snowy fields like fire dancing on a breeze. When she came to the top she looked just as she did in SunClan, no green grass stains, typical in leafbare when the snow washed it all away. It was easier to see the dazzling vanilla white on her hour glass form. A blue feather hung on either side of her ear, replaced from when she had last given Foxbane one. She looked different than the last time Foxbane had seen her. She stood taller, her head poised high and fur holding a brilliant shine and summery warm textures. In appearance she was more regal than playful. Possibly because she had bitter feelings towards Foxbane after last leafbare when she had enslaved her clan. Since the wildfire she had forgiven Foxbane for many things that she had still held onto, but the trust, or more accurately, hope for her to improve was sparse and far a part.
She seemed to look at Foxbane for a moment as though wondering how to approach this, unique for Glow to ever take a second to think at all, "Lovely weather we're having isn't it?" Glowstar asked with a grin, as though there weren't a million other interesting topics she could have begin with like, why did you step down? Or Wild what happened with Pandora and Bluejay? But apparently the weather was way more interesting.

When the messenger had come and begun giving him directions, he couldn't help but laugh in their face. Like he didn't know the territories like the back of his own paw. Like he hadn't spent moons exploring. He would have felt bad for the messenger if he didn't get such a kick out of it.
Making the journey was a different story, what with the snow so high. His companion and he trekked through it, white speckling his short auburn pelt that did nothing to insulate him. While he had tried to hide the meeting, there was little hope in that with the watchful eyes of the Internal Affairs district. Also, laughing loudly in the middle of the camp did not help. As the pair approached the White Tree, the wind blew in his face, making everything even colder and bringing the scent of Foxbane and Glowstar with it.
"Leave." Was all he said to the IA member, who only watched him in bafflement as he went ahead. It was too straightforward of an order to not listen to, so the young member backed off. When Funk was sure he was alone, he slammed himself into a pile of snow. Maybe he could catch hypothermia and just die here without having to see them? Them. Why them? Why him? What did she have planned? And why was he always the pawn in these damn games? He needed to be more proactive.
After surely cursing too much for this site into the snow, he gathered his nerves and kept going. He came all the way out here, he didn't want to leave empty-handed. With his face coated in snow, he approached the pair. "Quite the party we have going on here. What's the occasion?" Stepping into the warmer areas made him realize just how cold he was. One of his toes was gonna fall off on the way back. He knew it.
(I saw this, and I was gonna reply, but then I went 'hold up what do i call Burning now XDDDD' then I decided she still thinks of herself as Burningstar so she'll be Burningstar in this thread.)
A ginger she cat with darker stripes trotted up behind Funk to join them. "A fair question, friend." It was a bit of a question what to refer to herself as as well. Sunset was her initiate name, but she felt like she was still Burningstar, leader of NightClan. So she'd settle with the latter for now, she didn't think Glowstar had learned of her new name anyways.
It took Burningstar a second to recognize Funk. "Funk E'tan right? I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting face to face before! I'm... Burningstar of Nightclan, but currently I'm Sunset an Initiate of SunClan... it's... admittedly a bit complicated." She said with a bit of a laugh tail waving.
She turned towards Foxbane and Glowstar, she'd seen Foxbane recently and the two of them had talked briefly after Foxbane had stepped down, but it had been a while since she'd seen Glowstar. "Glowstar, how are you?" She asked.

"That's right, Burningstar. But the pleasure is all mine." Funk turned towards the supposedly last member of this little meeting with a brief bow. Sure, he knew Burningstar, had exchanged pleasantries and the like at gatherings. That was it though. His ever-growing curiosity made him wait for an answer from either leader. Though he knew only one had the answer.
Foxbane shifted uncomfortably at Glowstar's presence, something she never had done before. The she-cat glanced away as the DayClan leader spoke, silence stretching between them as she tried to formulate a reply. Before she managed one, however, their second guest arrived. She wasn't surprised he'd found it well enough, that he could have probably found it without her directions. And then Burningstar showed up.
It was at that moment Foxbane truly realized she felt out of place. Not only because of no longer being a leader, but simply because with all the emotions of the apocalyptic evens, and well the hormones of pregnancy and giving birth, she just didn't feel herself. Truly, she wasn't sure what 'herself' was, if not for the cat she had been before everything came crashing down. She had thought of it beforehand, but it set in that moment, how much she was out of her element, and how little she knew about everyone but Glowstar, and even her, she probably didn't know as much as she should have.
So, when they started to talk among themselves, she didn't even try to interrupt, despite technically being the 'host', having invited them out here and all.
( Btw, I'm playing this as she gave birth already, clearly. Bc I want a thread with non-pregnant Fox. xD )

(save foxstar from her own kits xD)
"Foxbane." He wasn't sure where her stupor was from, but it slightly unnerved him. Something was wrong, she didn't seem like the Foxbane who's brain he wanted to pick but knew he could never get all of its secrets. Partly from his own waning doctorly ways and mostly from his curiosity, he flashed her a small smile. "Why don't you lift your head and tell us what this meeting is about. I take it this was your idea."
