Nightsky stretched her legs as she exited the nursery. Her kits were asleep in their nest so now was a good time to slip out into the camp. So much change had taken place recently. They now have a new leader and a new deputy. The thought sent a thrill of pride though her fur. Her son Firewind, was chosen by Flamingstar to be her new deputy. She made her way over to a sunny spot and sat down to groom herself. Perhaps she'll take a quick walk into the territory and do some hunting. It's been like forever since she had done so. She hadn't even been out of the camp since her kits were born.
