Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( Spot I decided to make a 'Senescence is trespassing' thread because I got bored. xD )
She was the Internal Affairs Proxy. Of course she kept up with a cat not only previously of the League, but of her own district. Word on the wind had it that she wasn't simply a member anymore, but the leader, and the scarred feline was just bored enough to come and see her old, ah, well, friend wasn't exactly the proper word, now was it? Punching bag, perhaps fit, though that still implied some level of care or lack thereof geared towards the feline.
No matter the terminology, however, the she-cat was here, in NightClan. Funny, she remembered meeting Burningstar on this very territory, back when her name was still Burningsky. The she-cat had stopped her onslaught because the League she-cat hadn't bothered to fight back. Flamingstar probably wouldn't be so 'honorable.'
These thoughts lazily wound throughout her mind as she walked, stepping through the gathering place from DayClan territory and onto NightClan's. Wanderingwight's scent was nearly nonexistent, only the faintest hints of DayClan clinging to her pelt, all traces of the League gone as if they never were. Now, how long would it take before she was confronted or attacked? And who would be the first to greet her?
Unfortunately for Senescence, Flamingstar wasn't the first cat she came across. A small, petite, tuxedo she-cat was hunting when she caught a whiff of something familiar but wasn't Nightclan. She abandoned her hunt to search for the source of the scent. It was then, she noticed Senescence. She had seen the feline around before but had never spoken to her before and couldn't quite remember her name. She knew this cat wasn't Dayclan but she smelled strongly of them. "You." She meowed, stepping forward, her fur slightly bristling. "This is Nightclan territory. You have to leave."
Most cats, when faced with someone hostile in front of them, reacted in kind. Wanderingwight, however, couldn't be bothered to much care. The Proxy simply sighed in what may have been disappointment as she raised a paw, drawing it lazily over her ear. "Unless I'm mistaken, DayClan and NightClan have an alliance. My name's Wanderingwight, and I'm going to see Flamingstar." Her tone didn't seem to imply that she was taking no for an answer, and indeed, the tall cat simply sidestepped and headed deeper into the territory.
(Wait...is Senescence and Wanderingwright the same cat? XD I'm a bit behind on you and faith's character history lol!)
Echomelody relaxed a bit, though her deep green eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Indeed we are at an alliance but I doubt Flamingstar will be happy to see you" she responded. She didn't like that Flamingstar had been chosen as leader. The ginger she-cat was mean and bossy. Usually Echomelody liked everyone but having Flamingstar as her leader made everyone, including her, miserable. She knew if she brought Wanderingwright to Flamingstar, she would surely face her leader's wrath.

(Yep, Sen & Wandering are the same cat. xD Sen very rarely visits DC though. cx)
"Then you never saw me." The she-cat suggested. Senescence wasn't exactly the merciful type, but as much as Echomelody assumed about Flamingstar's reaction, it would likely be worse than she assumed. Of course, this cat also had to assume Wanderingwight simply wouldn't tell Flamingstar about this if Echomelody took the offer, but sometimes things were worth the risk. Not that she expected much. The clans tended to be stuck to their codes of morality and honor, even when a simple lie would be more beneficial.
Echomelody thought about it for a moment. "No, I'll take you to her...You will never be able to get past the guards without me." Echomelody finally mewed, taking the lead toward the camp.

"There are ways. Most are just more bloody than you'd appreciate." The scarred feline shrugged, following after Echomelody at a relaxed pace. She gave it a decent chance she'd have to fight her way out of the camp, if Flamingstar reacted badly to her presence. After all, she'd been brutalized as a prisoner, why wouldn't she take advantage when her warriors were around her. Of course, learning that Senescence was a DayClan member may make her hesitate. Unless she really wanted to turn on her allies. But who knew, really?
Echomelody ignored Senescence's rude comment and continued to walk. It didn't take long before they arrived at the camp. The two guards at the top of the cenote were bristling but with a few quick words, Echomelody calmed them. The tuxedo cat lead the intruder down the path to the cenote and into the main cavern. Flamingstar was bickering about the prey pile being too low to a couple of warriors. Echomelody padded up to her leader, lowering her ears as a nonthreatening gesture. She cleared her throat, "Flamingstar."
The ginger leader spun around to face Echomelody with cold, unforgiving eyes. "What, Echomelody? What is so important that you must interrupt my lesson to these sorry excuses for warriors?" Before the young warrior could get a word out, Flamingstar caught sight of Senescence. An eerie smile spread across the she-cat's scarred face. The very scarred face that Senescence had created. She shoved her warrior to the side and approached the intruder with a cocky smirk on her face. "Senescence! What a pleasant surprise!" Her voice was a mocked, excited greeting, nearly gagging on the word 'pleasant'.

"Made a name for yourself since you ditched the League, didn't you, Flame?" Did these cats know her past? Maybe, maybe not. Senescence didn't care either way, really. She knew all to well the situation she had placed herself in, watching Flamingstar's arrogant expression. Whether the leader cared or not, this was an exchange that the entirety of her clan would be paying attention to, especially seeing how Soaringstar had been outed. "Finally got bored of killing mothers who'd just given birth and finally find your morality? Funny, I didn't peg you for the type."
The Proxy had no real reason to play this dangerous game, to taunt this she-cat and risk her own life to reveal the things she'd done in the League. But Wanderingwight was just bored enough to pry against that mocking tone, her own expression a bland neutral, raising her brow as if staring at a petulant kit. It was blatant disrespect in a leader's own camp, not wise in the slightest. But who could ever claim Senescence made the smart decisions? No, she intentionally put herself in the worst things only to try and claw her way back, again, and again, and again. That was simply how she worked. "Oh, and call me Wanderingwight. That's what most of these clan cats do."
Beetleflight had been crouching low, wars lowered as he and the others received the, honestly uncalled for, tongue lashing.
But the others were quick to step back once Flamingstar’s wrath received a new target. He moved to go by Echomelody, frowning. Confused by the cat who’d come with her.
Then at Wanderingwight, or Senescence, a cat with two names? But which one was real?? He blanched when Wanderingwight let slip about killing mothers. He looked stunned at Flamingstar.
“So she gets to murder cats, but my aunt steals a litter and she’s so bad she has to get kicked out?!” Fierypaw shouted the young apprentice having also been among the ones Flamingstar was chewing out. She held little love for her mentor and new leader and was outspoken about it.
Flamingstar scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Please. This clan cant turn against me. I cant break the warrior code if I never followed it. Back when I was in the league, I didn't follow the warrior code. I could get away with it. Soaringstar broke the code while following it. Besides, perhaps I like following the code now. After all, I am a clan cat. Not because I didn't like killing mothers. Just because I saw an opportunity and I took it." She licked her paw and causually drew it over one ear. "I'll call you Wanderingwright if you call me Flamingstar. If you continue to call me Flame, I will continue to call you Senescence." Flamingstar knew Senescence's personality and how she was. She had spent enough time with her not to feel any fear around her. Flamingstar overheard her apprentice's outraged protest and she sighed. "Like I told Wanderingwright. I killed before I followed the warrior code. Your Aunt was following the code when she broke it."
“Least she didn’t kill anyone and be a foxheart like you!” Fierypaw muttered under her breath, then curled her lip at her mentor before turning on her heels and stomping off to the apprentice den, tail held high.
Beetleflight looked disturbed the black Tom shifting uncomfortably.
Bleakwind though came up beside Flamingstar, “My father was once from the league, and prolly did things he didn’t realize were wrong or saw no other way. From my understanding the league has no religion, or nuanced understanding of other ways to resolve things than violence,” He said simply. “StarClan has accepted Flamingstar now, and we should judge her on her current actions not her past ones outside of the clans and the code.”
Flamingstar looked at Bleakwind, surprised that he had stood up for her. "Thank you, Bleakwind" she nodded to the warrior who had been kind to her since she joined Nightclan.

Her gaze slipped around to the cats, on the expressions of those that heard her, and then Flamingstar's follow up. "I wouldn't be so sure of that, Flame." Senescence tilted her head to the side. "Though, technically, if the loud little she-cat's words are right, she didn't even break the warrior code. The code only states that kits must be fed before warriors, that they must be six moons old to become apprentices, and that one cannot ignore a kit in danger. It says nothing about stealing kits." Cats loved to say what was and wasn't the code. To force it to extend to all morality, when the words themselves didn't actually say such a thing.
"But, I'm not here to argue the morality of your title. Not my problem, really. Plenty of League cats have become leaders of clans, even if I'd disagree with you about knowing what you've done. You've already betrayed a clan once, League aside. I was just here because I was bored and wanted to see what became of you. I'm sure Glowstar will be bugging me about it." The relaxed feline draped a paw over her maw as she gave a yawn. "You haven't changed a bit. I'd remind you about the leaving rule of my district, but seeing as you can't even keep your own code straight, I doubt you'd remember it." The rule, on the off chance the NightClan she-cat did remember it was 'One cannot leave the Internal Affairs district except by promotion or death.' And she'd not been promoted within the League. It did look bad not to follow through with it.
"Perhaps. But there are additional rules, kits are not allowed to leave camp until they are apprenticed, a clan cat must not cross another clan's border, a clan must not steal from another clan." Flamingstar countered coolly. "And I remember that rule. I just chose not to honor it. And you think my rules are dumb." She scoffed. "But dont worry. One of your little assassins gave me a few scars to remember you all by. Too bad they weren't skilled enough to kill me." Flamingstar smirked, giving a flick of her tail.

Senescence shrugged. "Just because you ignored that rule, doesn't mean I won't enforce it. And I have a lot more tricks than a few petty assassins who needed something to do for a day." She didn't even try to hide the threat. It was pretty apparent by even mentioning the rule, that she hadn't forgotten. And she'd never had the chance to kill a clan leader, so maybe this would be interesting. Wanderingwight had far more than League cats who could attack for her, and more than just felines too. If Flamingstar really had been destined to die, she likely wouldn't have even realized the scarred she-cat was involved.

"I more came to be a nuisance, which it seems like I've done." Senescence answered simply. "But if you're wanting to fight, sure. I was planning on seeing how long it took for you to either try to murder me, or order your clan to. Was bound to happen at some point today."
"You dont faze me anymore, Senescence. I'm leader now with an entire clan at my beck and call. It would be foolish for you to attack me" Flamingstar boasted with a cocky smirk.

"Flame." Sen's voice was strange as she spoke the feline's League name now, it held a sort of laughter in it, and Senescence never, ever, laughed. She stepped closer to the leader, one tiny step at a time, as her body, already the height of relaxed and uncaring, seemed to just.. slump, ever so slightly. Like a broken puppet being released from the strings. Her head angled farther, seeming to flicker in copper a moment as her voice went utterly flat, now barely a paw's width away from Flamingstar. "We both understand how I work. And you know me well enough to realize that I am very, very, foolish." She could have attacked in that moment, but she waited, leaving it up to the leader to decide if she would start the bloodbath. The Internal Affairs Proxy wasn't stupid, even having made the threat, which was more than enough justification for Flame to attack, the half-blind she-cat wouldn't be baited into it. Though of course, that did imply she felt the need to kill the NightClan feline for the comment, or really cared about her much at all.
Of course, if this did result in a fight, Funk would probably be pissed. Oops. He could probably deal with it.
( So, we have a few courses of action. Do you want a fight? If yes, do you want Sen to kill Flame and take one of her lives? No fight and just threats, etc? cx )
