Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Unwavering green eyes settled on the grasshopper, and a brown tail twitched. The small movement seemed to catch the insect's attention, and it moved to jump, but so did Spokenkit. The kit pounced, landing face-first in the dirt, and the grasshopper jumped to the safety of grass. Spokenkit groaned from his odd position, his tail now just thumping on the ground in annoyance. He was sure that it was this grasshopper that kept chirping near his ear during the night. It had to be! The small menace was the reason that the tabby hadn't been able to get decent sleep in days, though he refused to tell anyone. It was such a small problem, and his siblings might laugh at him for it. He had to figure something out on his own.
A pair of green eyes blinked slowly, the remnants of sleep still weighing on the she-cat's lids as she glanced around at the small bodies that laid together around the den in deep slumber. Naturally she began to count, taking in for account each kit before coming to an abrupt halt, noting one less kit than the night before. She glanced back towards the den entrance, her large black hears twitching as she tried to catch any sound of movement before slowly rising to her feet. An additional weight made her sigh softly under her breath. Everyday she felt she was getting bigger and bigger so quickly, the process of motherhood always took her by surprise.
Mossbreeze made her way out of the den quietly, careful not to wake the other kits, her green orbs taking in the sight of a small brown tabby, whose was crouching and watching. Mossbreeze followed the kit's line of vision, noting a rather small grasshopper ahead. Mossbreeze watching with quiet interest as the kit attempted to pounce only finding himself face first in the dirt and his target long gone into the safety of the tall grass. The queen held back a laugh, her expression unable to hide a wide smile as she made her way to the kit.
"You are up early Spokenkit." She spoke up calmly, her expressive green eyes glistening in the morning light.
