Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The moon was high in the sky by the time Maplestar had lead Runepaw out into the forest, she had never been more grateful for her winter coat until now. The cold autumn night was still something she had yet to get used to, missing the warm of summer and the calm quiet nights that came with it. Though one could argue that this night was still quiet she disagreed, the wind rustling the dying leaves in the trees that threatened to break aw as y with every breeze polluted the forest bring on a lingering chill with it. Perhaps she just hated the cold.
The whole way there Maplestar had stayed unusually quiet herself, it wasn't like her not to be brimming with conversation but. This time she was trapped in her own thoughts. Her own time as a student had been cut abruptly short with the suddenness of Nightstar's passing. The former leader had died before she could even be granted her nine lives by the Goddess Selene and had left Maplestar to take over without warning. It was only by luck that she paid enough attention to her training to know what was expected of her. Something she would be certain to instill in Runepaw.
When they reached the small clearing they were greeted by a circle delicately made up of stones directly in the center, bathed in Selene's dim light. On front of the circle sat a large leaf with what was unimstakinly some kind of liquid, but what exactly could not be determined from this distance. The High Preistess had set this up earlier in the day, with the full moon less than a quarter moon away it was important that Runepaw was prepared to perform her first ritual along side her leader.
"Are you ready? I know it doesnt look like much right now but, this is just for practice, the real thing will be much more exciting: the golden she CST promised with a purr. She was wat hing Runepaw out of the corner of her eye trying to gauge her student's reaction without making it too obvious.
