Talonpaw shifted a large ball of moss in between his paws out of boredom. Many of the other apprentices were on patrol or changing while he was on bedding duty. Sometimes it was nice when his sister or one of the others got in trouble because ten they had to do this work. However, when everyone was good, it was all up to luck if you ended up scooping up old bedding. He let out a sigh and rolled the ball into a bigger pile before beginning to gather more around the Elder's den.
