Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
I'm waking up at the start of the end of the world But it's feeling just like every other morning before Now I wonder what my life is gonna mean if it's gone
Nightwish was the star-studded High Priestess of the clan, the figurehead, the one with all the power. She was to be respected, revered, cherished as part of the family, because she was. To her, MoonClan was her family; they were all that mattered. As long as they were safe and sound, she was willing to sacrifice her life. Her happiness mattered naught.
But there was one member of her family that didn't share that sentiment. While most of her family had been raised in a very strict and dark environment thanks to her psychotic and sociopathic father, there was one that hadn't endured such darkness. He experienced a completely different type of outcast life, one that he inflicted upon himself, yet it never seemed to bother him because as far as anyone knew, he was never lonely.
And there he was, skidding into the snow-laden clearing, paws sliding across ice as he grinned at the passersby that shot him dirty looks. He was intruding on their peaceful home life. A part of him surged with pride at that accomplishment.
The black she-cat, at hearing the ruckus and the loud thump! when his body slammed into a rock, had hurried out of her den to see what the commotion was about. Once she caught sight of the culprit, however, her panicked expression dropped to fond annoyance. She heaved a great breath of exhaustion.
"Sagitta." There was an unspoken disapproval in her voice that would normally have him cowed, but he just grinned widely back at her.
"My favorite big sister!"
"I thought you were off gallivanting with your friends."
"Touring with my band, you mean. I'm a great singer." He cleared his throat, "AAAAA-"
By magic or sheer force of will, the black she-cat slid down the sloped path of her den and slammed into him, slapping her tail across his mouth. "No."
His eyes sparkled and his lips curled behind the fluffy black fur.
