Welcome to WinterClan's first ever festival celebrating our favorite season! We'll have different events covering the next few weeks, so be sure to stay tuned in so you don't miss out! Below are the events and when they'll be held. Some are still undetermined for their dates, but you are still welcome to sign up for them. 

You are not limited to just these events! Feel free to make your own threads celebrating the Festival. If you'd like the links posted on here for those to join in on, please send the links to me, pao. If you have an event you think should be listed feel free to message one of the staff about it. 

Event threads are scheduled for ten days. They can go past that if they're being active but it gives a time table for us to know when to close them if they're not and when to start the next event. There will be no threads between the 23rd of Dec and the 5th of Jan for those celebrating the holidays. Feel free to reply to threads during this time but no new ones will be created until the 5th for the Festival.

EVENT 1: Secret Santa
DETAILS: Sign up for the Secret Santa here, and when it closes in a few weeks we are going to randomly assign cats to each other. We will have an rp thread for that and for the gift exchanges. The gifts can be anything realistic a cat would find. So pretty rocks, feathers, honeycomb, that kind of thing. Get creative but maybe don't gift a new car to any cats  . Feel free to enter as many cats as you'd like! 
We're also going to do a couple of awards for this:
- Most Original Gift
- Weirdest Gift
- Biggest Grinch (so maybe they get reluctantly roped into being part of this?)
with maybe one or two more.

EVENT 1: Ice Fishing
DETAILS: Let's see who can catch the largest fish, the most interesting catch and the most colorful! Join us at the Icy Pond not far from camp for the event, even if you're just watching.

EVENT 1: Snowball Fights
DETAILS: Just as it sounds. Cats will sign up and then be split into teams. If there are enough cats signed up then well have one large snowball fight or multiple smaller ones.

EVENT 1: Ice Skating
DETAILS: We'll be using our claws to skate across our dear Frozen Lake. Beware of thin spots on the ice!

EVENT 1: Snow Day
DETAILS: A few smaller contests will be held during this time. One will be a snow angel contest, another snow man, and a final one will be seeing how long one can last buried in the snow (kind of like with sand but snow instead!)
