Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. A beam of snow filtered light pierced through the entrance of the nursery turning Cosmickits deep ebony pelt grey as she sat in her nest surrounded by her littermates, she looked at each of them i turn with deep yellow eyes and grunted. "If you don't wake up, I will step on you." her voice was pleasant, but one glance at her expression showed just how serious she was. The she-cat stood up where she was, giving her kin a moment to process her words and move before she began to use them as stepping stones out of the nest.

Galactickit was quite sure he was going to turn his sister into crowfood this morning. His dream had been exciting, he'd been hunting a crow! But then his sister stepped on him, "get off," he growled, sitting up suddenly in the hopes of unbalancing her. "What's going on? Why are you waking us?" He yawned widely, all his kitten-sharp teeth exposed. Now that he was up, Galactickit wasn't going to bother going back to sleep. He stood and crept out of the nest, not stepping on a single littermate, and stretched luxuriously.
Cosmickit smiled at her brothers reaction, laughter lighting her eyes. "You were in my way, and I didn't feel like going around you all." She purred, now out of the nest and stretching in the open space beside Galactickit. "Besides, why waste the morning, you can sleep later." The ebony she-cat always woke early, it wasn't by choice to begin with but after time it became routine for her and she had to admit she felt much better than when she slept in.

Galactickit rolled his eyes, "you're just trying to start trouble." Cosmickit was one of his favorite siblings, but he still didn't approve of the early hour. He yawned again before turning and leaving his siblings, sliding out of their den and into the crisp morning air with a scowl on his small face.
The ebony she-cat gave the white tuft on her chest a couple of licks before following Galactickit out of the nursery, her smile never fading. "There's nothing wrong with a little trouble, come on cheer up grumpy paws." There was laughter in her sharp yellow eyes and a purr in her voice, she moved to stand beside her brother and nudged him with her shoulder. Cosmickit loved pestering her siblings, as they were the only ones she was completely open with.
