Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She smiled and flicked her ears. Fiery as ever. Shame it was always just an ember. "Of course not. I'd never make that judgement, but... I've already bested you. " He was too old to be acting so high and above everyone. She felt pity wash over herself for whoever mentored him once again. "Maybe if you stopped staring at your 'Sun' you would see that." Maybe it was too soon, but whatever. The young cat could not do anything she couldn't handle.
{yeah i've noticed. he's completely different in the novaclan thread}
( he would be so embarrassed to know he acted like this when he was an apprentice LOL he's 22 moons now, his character direction changed a little bit too )
Bloodypaw bristled, but did not attack, he knew she was at least half right and instead tried to change subjects, "What are you doing in SunClan territory? Trying to spy?"
She rolled her eyes and laughed under her breath. "No, absolutely not. I wandered onto your side when I was walking before. I turned to head back to my side, but you found me before I could leave. Then, I beat you up and here we are." Azura appreciated him trying to move away from his defeat, but it was not gonna happen. She simply could not allow it. She loved how he dealt with embarrassment, insults, all of that stuff. A flicker of amusement flashed through her eyes. He needed a scratching brick like she had when she was his age.
Bloodypaw was following along calmly enough, his fur smooth, that is, until she mentioned her beating him up. Sure, she had kicked him pretty good, but beat him? He could still fight! He wanted to fly at the enemy she-cat again to prove his point, but something held him back. Was it... common sense? The young apprentice did not reply right away; the pause seemed very unnatural for him.
"I know DayClan keeps loose borders, but SunClan doesn't! I'll escort you back to White Tree," Bloodypaw finally said through gritted teeth, his ears still pinned to his head as if he was about to strike. He dug his claws into the cold earth but did not lift a paw, "Or else."
I know the "or else" doesn't really make sense, it's intentional, to be clear xD
She saw his body tense up for a moment and she braced herself another attack, but found herself surprised when he restrained himself for the first time. Maybe the tom was not a complete lost cause. His pride for SunClan was obnoxious beyond belief, but his fighting technique showed bits of something. She had hope for him, and she was bored, so the she-cat did something that surprised herself. "You know, you won't be half bad once you grow." She almost regretted saying it as soon as it left her mouth, but it was done.
"Oh, you think so?" A compliment went pretty far with Bloodypaw. He was still on edge, of course, but it was as if the ice had finally been cracked and was close to breaking, "My mentor has barely taught me any fighting yet." He sort of regretted that statement in the same way Azura had regretted hers. He abruptly stopped talking but was no longer totally feral. He looked at the experienced Warrior with his head slightly cocked, making him look very much like the kit he was.
(sorry for making this shorter. i'm running on a tight schedule.) "I mean, I exaggerated a little bit. You need a lot more work, but you're far from hopeless. I mean that in the best way." She was never great with words. She usually let her actions speak for her, but she would probably never see the young tom again. At the very least until adulthood. By then he would change and forget about all of this, and she could act like she did. Her eyebrows scrunched as she searched for something more to say. "Like don't just throw your weight, direct it. That kind of stuff."
( no worries I don't care about how long posts are or how frequently you reply xD do whatever you want. also forgive me for my short reply LOL )
"What do you mean by that? Don't you have to direct it to throw it?" Bloodypaw replied, growing less and less aggressive. He was addressing her almost casually now; his claws were even sheathed. The ginger tom stayed a safe distance away but took a step closer, his celadon green eyes brimming with curiosity. If he could learn a trick or two from a DayClan cat he would be ahead of other apprentices at the very least. If she ticked him off, he could always chase he away.
"I mean, I kind off. But focus more on the directing part. You know how throw your weight, but work on, like, throwing in strategically, not just all the time. Sometimes it pays to be light on your feet." She played to the other side. The warrior did not have any weight to throw around, so she relied on light footing to stay a head. She preferred that style anyway. Throwing one's weight around seemed like a barbaric way to fight to her. "You know, let your opponent move first and then take them out."
(Yeah np! I feel like this one is coming to an end. Do you want to plan something new between the two?)
( sure thing! we can have them run into each other at the Gathering? it'll be quite a time skip though, like at least a year later xD )
Bloodypaw mirrored the attack as described by Azura and did a decent job of it. He did not have a lot of weight to throw around either, of course, but he did as good a job as anyone could have hoped. He looked to Azura to see if she approved with the hint of a smile on a face up until now she had only seen scowl. It was only for a second, though. What was he doing, having a good time with a DayClan cat? Sure, they were in an alliance, but she didn't believe in the Sun god and there was no forgiving that, "I had better get going. Pay more attention to the borders next time. And... errr... thanks for the tips I guess..."
He was certainly something. The young tom wanted all the help he could get, but refused to step down from that pious, self-righteous superiority that SunClan cats wore like a badge. He almost reminded her of herself. She wore the badge of a rebel with the pride of a conqueror in her youth, but her arrival in DayClan years ago changed that. As he could attest she never lost her fire, but she tamed it from what it once was. Maybe he could tame whatever brainwashing the Clan had done to him. "No problem. Remember to pick on someone your own size. I mean it. Don't do anything stupid, and please don't be an idiot." With the she turned around and headed for the White Tree.
(hmmm I feel like that would be to civil. do you have an SC cat who needs a mate? Like maybe he finds out that someone in DC had SunClan cats and he figures out it was her)
( Unfortunately I do not lol, but I'm sure we can find someone to fill in for that roll! Or you can wait a little while for me to create a new character, but it might take awhile, I'm sort of discombobulated right now and super behind since I've had the flu all week xD )
(oh sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon! I think it would be fun to bring a third person it. Do you know someone who might be down for this?)
Sure sorry I didn't get back to you right away! I think once the third person is figured out we can get to work on plot details. Gotta be a little careful since SunClan has all these rules about how any half-SunClan kits belong in SunClan. So technically if Bloodyrondo knew Azura had them, he would be compelled to steal them. I'll work out those details with Racer & Faith though once we get that far. Maybe Bloody agrees to keep it a secret or something. Or maybe we have a little mini-plot with DayClan and SunClan xD
