(Heya! c: This is just some fun thanksgiving-themed RP since it's that time of year in the US. I figured a group of cats could go out turkey hunting at a twoleg farm oops and they'll bring it to this spontaneous feast of gratefulness Fallclan might have this next week... heheh. Feel free to have your kitty drop in on the hunting fun!)
Calamityshrine's black fur seemed to sparkle as the light of dawn lit up the little droplets of dew that had collected on it. "Ah, what a beautiful, crisp morning. It'll be perfect for turkey hunting!" The deputy stretched out his legs and felt each little bone crack along his back. His eyes drifted across the camp and he made a little smacking noise as he searched for the crew that vowed to wake up early for hunting. He wasn't sure why his heart tugged towards turkey hunting... There wasn't any sort of special event or anything coming up that they would need a turkey... Not at all. Did cats even eat turkey? Well, they would see soon at a spontaneous feast they decided to have for no reason at all... No sort of special reason... at all.

Mountainspirit stepped out of the warriors den and stretched each of his legs in turn before trotting to the Fallclan deputy, he had overheard Calamityshrines plan to go turkey hunting and the idea excited the senior warrior, so he promised to wake early to join in the fun. "Good morning Calamityshrine, are you excited or is it just me?" The large toms clear blue eyes were lit with joy as he sat beside the ebony tom.
The next to join the gathering cats was Littlelamb, although even he didn't know why he came. He was small, and even as a hunter he had to wonder exactly how much use he would really be during this hunt. He pushed his worry back, trying to bring the excitement up front. The result was an awkward smile as he bowed his head towards the deputy. "Excited is one word," he replied, catching the other tom's words as he was approaching.

"Ah, Littlelamb! Come to join in the hunt have you, this is going to be quite the adventure." The older tom could barely contain his readiness to begin, though he knew more of their clanmates would be joining and so to steady himself he sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws; it wasn't working very well. "Have you ever seen a turkey Littlelamb?"
Shakily, the tom shook his head. "All I know is that they're large." From a cat with 'Little' in his name, this was a terrifying concept. "I think even just one of them should feed us for a while. Though, maybe the stories I heard were exaggerated, and they're just... normal bird size. Yeah. That could be it."

Cal's eyes brightened as the crew joined him. "They're HUGE." He responded gleefully with wide eyes and a fluffed out tail. He almost resembled a kit with the amount of excitement pouring off of him. "I'm so excited to finally get to taste one." He purred with a sideways grin before falling into a bitter pout. "Last time I caught one some mangy fox stole it right out from under my nose."

Mountainspirit let out a throaty chuckle at Littlelambs nervous words. "Dont you worry, we wont make you chase after one by yourself. Calamityshrine is right, they can get to be pretty big." He had never caught one himself, but the older tom had seen plenty in his day.
"Ha, foxes, they dont do no one any good, if it were up to me they wouldnt exist in the first place."
With the other two's words, Littlelamb's nervousness only seemed to skyrocket. So, turkeys really were huge after all. He silently gulped, trying to push through his fear. "Why did I sign up for this," he muttered, his eyes dropping to his paws.

"Because it'll be so much fun!" Calamityshrine piped, giving the tom a little butt on the shoulder with his head. "Hmm... I could of sworn I told more cats about this... Oh well, I'm sure we can get it done with just the three of us!" The optimism poorly masked his lack of faith in the little group on taking down a turkey, but he seemed determined nonetheless.
