Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sunlight flickered against her bronze diva bright tabby orange pelt glimmering with the reflective power of a thousand diamonds against her dazzling white fur. She rested on the copper stone as though it were her throne, a queen overlooking her kingdom. It was who Autumngossamer was to want everything, but she couldn't deny herself, she was a follower, born and raised one. Her sister always led and while she hungered for power she found that when she obtained power over others she only enjoyed it so long as she was the middle man. Controlling others, but never getting the burden of ensuring plans and strategies went well with excellent follow through. At one point she considered to try to become the Priestess, but it just never felt for her so when the offer to be Soothsayer came up it only felt right. Her brown gaze watched over SunClan carefully before she rested her chin back down onto her paws. All was peaceful.

Lovesmitten stopped in his tracks, just starting at the beautiful cat before him that he was lucky enough to call the love his life and mate. Laying there with the sunlight glimmering in her fur it wasn't hard to see why he had fallen head over heels for her. But it went deeper than the surface, because beneathe all the glitter and glam was a soul that was even more beautiful. She looked like a goddess in his eyes, and he was content to spend the rest of his days just trying to prove that he was worthy of her affections.
Finally breaking his trance, he slowly padded forwards and pressed his nose up against her cheek "good morning beautiful" his purr rumbled in his throat as he settled in next to her "I brought some paints to do your fur. With Littlestar taking over, I assume you will need to go with her to get her lives soon"
Her usual cold gaze melted at Lovesmitten's voice, to anyone else she was a devastating storm ready to ravage through any soul and tear them a part and around Lovesmitten she felt all... Silly inside, she could feel her cheeks blush and her words didn't always make sense. They were mates and yet every time she looked at him his presence felt just as intense and special as the day she first met him.
"Ah yes, I'll need Shootingcomet to do my fur," She said, referring to Duskslayer. Her tail tip twitched thoughtfully, "I hope Littlebird likes me. She asked me for advice when Foxstar was captured and I mean, I've talked... Okay barely, I really don't know Littlebird that well. I always hung out with Foxstar and I'm kind of worried she won't like me and will want someone else as soothsayer," She confessed.

"You have nothing to worry over my love. Any one that doesn't love you, doesn't deserve you" he chuckled shaking his head slightly "Besides, the Sun God choose you to become the Soothsayer not Foxstar. Even if Littlestar doesn't like you, taking you from your position wouldn't be all that easy" He licked her cheek comfortingly allowing his purr to spread to her body.
"Littlebird has put up with Foxbane this long because it was the sun god's will, so I don't think she is the type to just throw around her authority without a just cause"
"Maybe Foxstar- Foxbane put her in such a bad disposition that she's now going to strike down anyone who defies her. Foxstar ruled like she was a Goddess, I'm certain Littlebird will do the same, but hopefully she'll remember I never joked with her and always was respectful..." Autumngossamer said with wonder before shaking her head free of the thought. She had always been a suck up, it was no surprise to herself that she was wasting her time thinking about this. Littlebird was nicer than Foxstar ever was as leader, now that Littlebird would soon be Littlestar things would might actually be nicer. Well maybe not nicer, she did like bullying people around and threatening to kill when obviously she would never kill or else it would ruin her manicure. But still, they would all be fine in fact maybe now was the time to have "the talk."
"So um. You know my stance on kits, I'm just... Afraid of going through pregnancy," She said, the words still felt embarrassing. Every other she-cat before her had kits no problem, but she was afraid. She took herbs constantly to ensure such a thing would never happen. But still, what would other cats think if they knew her fear? They would think they were better than her, any she-cat who had kits would! Still despite the pause she continued, "Maybe not yet, but down the road I've been thinking we should consider adopting. Any kits that come through here motherless we could take in."

He had always known that kits were not in their future, ever since the day that he had declared his love for Autumngossamer and dedicated himself to his lover. They day that he had spilled his deepest and darkest secrets, and she voiced her fears. Even though he had always thought that he was going to have a family, he had accepted this. If being able to love her meant setting aside his dream for a family of his own, then it was a small price to pay. She had given him a purpose in life, a reason to exisit.
His breath caught in his throat "Are you sure that is what YOU want" he stopped "No one will think less of you just because you don't have any kits. You are the Soothsayer, your duty is to the clan and the Sun God. Beside I will put thorns in the nest of anyone that even has a negative thought about you" his eyes shimmered, very much meaning his threat
"But if that is what you want, then I think it is a great idea. It would be a help to the clan, and we could have the family that we always dreamed of. BUT, I don't want you doing this for me. It has to be what YOU want"
"No I'm certain about this, I mean, I think. I never knew my mom, I don't know how a mom should act really," Autumngossamer admitted, "But I don't want that to get in the way of being happy and having a family of our own. Imagine how much we would help SunClan by doing this though. Any kit who comes here alone will be raised by us and feel like a true SunClan cat by the time they're made a warrior. I am a bit worried I'll be too harsh, our parenting methods might clash. But I'll trust your judgment too, we're a team and at the end of the day families all about relations and we have the best one," She purred.

Lovesmitten could hardly contain the excitement in his voice "Then yes, by all mean yes!!!" he purred loudly enough that even the cats in their dens could probably hear him "You are the Soothsayer, who better to raise kits to grow up to be fine SunClan warriors" he nuzzled up against her cheek "You are going to be a wonderful mother, just by being willing to open up your heart to those in need you have already proven that. I will be by your side every step of the way. I don't know that I know how to be a father either, but we will figure it out together"
Autumngossamer felt dread enter and leave almost as quickly as it came. Lovesmitten didn't know how to be a father anymore than she knew how to be a mother, in that sense they would start off just as insecure and uncertain and in a weird way that was comforting. She wanted to be a good mother, she didn't want to lean on Lovesmitten for help, but if they were at the same level then there wouldn't be any guilt to be had. It was weird because she still felt nervous about having kittens, but didn't have any question in her mind that she definitely want to raise a litter with Lovesmitten. After all she couldn't be any worse than her own mom who abandoned her as wolf chow in front of a wolfs den. Still she could feel dread and anxiety worming into her, stupid emotions...
"Tsh, I mean, I'm so excited, but like do you think we should go around and ask for parenting tips? There's probably plenty of experienced parents around here who can tell us some tips and tricks."

"Who do you think that we should talk to?" he questioned softly. He didn't want to suggest anyone that might make her uncomfortable. He didn't want to pus her, knowing how nervous she already was about this. He hoped that allowing her to take the lead would make this easier. He nuzzled up against her cheek "We will take this at your pace, and not make any decisions until your comfortable with it"
