Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She'd finally escaped those damn tunnels. How any cat could live in them for their entire lives was beyond her. The former heda shook her pelt again, even more dirt seeming to fall loose in a cloud around her. It had only taken her a quarter moon to regain her strength and sneak out of the tunnels and away from the hostilities of the Regime. But where was she to go now?
He paws had carried her to her old stomping grounds, having heard rumors that the league now made that their home, she'd figured she'd actually be safer there than when the coalition reigned. Genesis padded into the territory from the back side, from the forest, not the city like most. She'd assumed she wouldn't run into anyone on this end but she'd assumed wrong. "Hello." She mewed cautiously, as she pressed through some brambles and came face to face with another cat. This might not be good.

(i'm finally here)
The Nemesis' luck was either amazing or rotten. There was no in-between. Lady Luck really thought of him similarly as most she-cats did. They loved him or hated him. Mostly hate, so even when someone was genuine, he could only accept it as false. Which was fine, cause all of them must have came to him knowing his love was a rigged coin toss. That coin only had tails on both sides, the possibility of his' being genuine would be in the freak moment the coin would land on its side. Something he could never predict happening.
Not that he was really thinking about that at the moment, instead picking his way through one of the many bramble bushes in the city on another luck quest. He could only hope to find something good, like a diamond in the rough. So far, he was only leaving with a few burrs stuck in his short pelt. The smell of the Regime did not go unnoticed, and he expected some spy or other coming to give Funk a hard time. Mentally bracing himself for some lecture, he started to move out of the brush before coming upon a completely new face. Not the usual regime rats he normally dealt with.
He slipped past them and out of the brush, all covered in dirt and spurs that had roughed up his pelt. "Well, hit me. What does the low and mighty Regime want with me this time?"
"Regime?" The question dropped from the she cat's mouth before she could stop it. Dropped with such malice it was clear her feelings on that label. Of course she'd been there long enough to pick up their musty scent. Genesis's blue eyes narrowed at this tom, not one she was familiar with in the slightest. League then. "I'm the farthest thing from a Regime cat, despite the smell." She mewed once she was able to gather her thoughts. But who was he?

Funk's lip twitched at the vile in her tone. The spit in her voice. Guess he got that wrong. What was he supposed to do? He didn't recognize this she-cat or know why she was here. Though it was nice to hear someone else spit the name as much as he did. The bengal didn't move, letting himself get examined like art. The kind that was messed up but you kept staring at, like a car wreck.
"I see. You an escaped convict of theirs or something?" The Nemesis had a habit of picking up outsiders and bringing them back to the League. For as much trouble as he got in, most integrated fine. It was the worse during the flood, now most wouldn't come all the way to the city. "Must be somethin' special then? What's your name?... Well, guess it's rude not to introduce myself first. Funk E'tan, Great Doctor, Genius and Nemesis of PI. At your service."
