Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He hadn't gone out of his way to find his resident until now. They'd have just gotten under his paws while he tried to set up their program, but now he'd need her help. He'd gathered many creatures, some native and some exotic, and they all needed care. Echo, as he'd so appropriately named the parrot, followed him everywhere now, often perching on his broad shoulders. He was small for a Macaw, either his growth had been stunted or he was a dwarf variety, but his bright colors were still very apparent.
"Einheria." He called as he walked into the main camp, looking around for the white toned she cat. He'd only had her pointed out to him once by Funk, but he was good with faces. "Einheria, Einheria." His pet squawked at a much louder volume. If she hadn't heard him the first time, she'd hear Echo.
Einheria was tucked away in her hiding place. A place where she kept her own pets. Skulls and feathers that belonged to various birds that she had snatched off the piling of prey that various hunters had laying around the camp. The resident was bitter to be living in the new home. She had a large collection back at their mansion home, but was unable to take them to their new home. So she had started the pain staking task of recollecting feathers. She also had been ignored by the Pathologist, but didn't bother going out of her way to track him down.
She hadn't heard the Pathologist call out to her, but she did hear the out squawk. Was that bird? Do bird talk? She wondered as she quickly put her collections away and left her hiding place. When she left her hiding place she didn't expect to see the most beautiful bird she had even seen perched on the Pathologist's shoulders. Her mouth dropped open in awe as she was taken back by the beauty of the red feathers.
