Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(racer, Spot, simplylight a thread where Stealthclaw and her adopted children: Divinepaw, Goldenhind and Echomelody take a moment to rejoice on all being together, and mourn the loss of the ones lost: (Celestialpaw, Ornatepaw, Ancientpaw, and Sacredpaw))
Stealthclaw carried a single yellow bloom. It was very wilted... but despite the harsh frost it hadn't died, and she felt it was an adequate offering to lay on Celestialpaw's grave.
After Coyoteway had tried to kill her, Stealthclaw had thought she'd never see any of the kits she'd taken in, and it had ignited fury in her blood. Then when the twolegs saved her life and took her away, she feared what she would miss... And she had missed alot.
Celestialpaw and Ornatepaw's deaths, along with Ancientpaw and Sacredpaw going missing. She couldn't say if her adopted sons had been taken by twolegs and taken somewhere else than where she and Echomelody had been kept. OR if something worse had befallen them.
She sighed bending her head to gently set the flower down before sitting back and looking at it for a long moment.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there." She murmured, bowing her head. "I should've been there to protect you."

"If you had been here, then you wouldn't have been able to return to us" came a quiet voice, entering to where they had laid their siblings to rest. He placed a sparkling stone on each of the graves "I didn't understand it at the time, but perhaps it was meant to happen. So that you could be here now"
"I should've realized Coyoteway was plotting to kill me," Stealthclaw muttered, looking at the graves. Divinepaw was likely right, if the twolegs hadn't taken her, she would've died from her wounds. "I should've recognized he wasn't giving you all the care you deserved." She sighed. "I'm sorry Divinepaw, I should've been paying more attention. I'd lost my litter when Coyoteway dropped you at my paws, and I had tunnel vision. I was so focused on mothering you I paid little mind to anything else, I had tunnel vision in the worst way." She wrapped her tail around her paws.

""You know... despite everything that dad turned out to be, I never worried" he stopped and pressed his nose up against his mother's cheek "I knew that no matter what happened, you would always be there. All the times that he knocked me down, you were there to show me that life didn't have to be that way. He may be my father by blood, but you are the mother that we choose"
Stealthclaw blinked. She remembered her time as a young apprentice, eager and determined and ready to put down any in her way. She had been much like Coyoteway once upon a time. But after losing her first litter and the tom she thought she'd loved had abandoned her everything had changed.
Her gaze softened she wrapped her tail around Divinepaw. "I'm glad that I was able to do that for you, you've made me so proud Divinepaw," She whispered. "When I was your age... I just wanted to be strong. But seeing you grow strong, it fills me with great pride and joy."
