Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He'd stayed. Of course he'd stayed, because he'd seen the possibilities here. Dayclan was nice.. and he would miss that place.. but here he could expand so much further. He looked around him at the place he'd found just on the edge of their territory, he'd asked Funk if he could claim it for the pathologist and resident use.. Which, was a position he was pretty sure he'd swiped from under his father's nose.. Yes he'd stayed after that, just to rub it in.
He currently stood in what used to be a zoo. Maybe not a zoo but definitely a place many species of animals had been kept, like a private collector or a breeder. Just now he watched a lizard species he'd never seen, large and bright blue, before run in front of him. There was a large central building, he'd looked inside and there were many small cages. Some contained animals while others were empty, waiting for him to catch his new pets. Outside was a large pond, which he had already discovered contained monsterish fish. He'd have to ask about getting... something... to feed them. Lastly there were the large cages outside.. all empty. It made you wonder what had been there to begin with, and where the animals were now.
His gaze was drawn upwards as a cackle broke the silence and a large red, yellow, and blue bird landed in front of him. "Well hello." He mewed, and the bird parroted back. "Hello." Myst laughed, this was going to be fun.

Stadium aside, this was perhaps one of the most notable places on the territory. Senescence was pretty sure a few cat had visited and never returned, for example, and others had probably killed some of the creatures for prey. Ultimately, she didn't see much point in it, except as things to sell on the black market. A few strange animals were sure to sell. Of course, it seemed someone already intended to claim it. Oh well. She supposed she'd just have to use some of the profits she skimmed from anyone who rented one of the shops to convince him to let her take some of the excess creatures.
"Having fun?" The Proxy drawled, having draped herself across the top sections of one of the larger cages. She'd already looked around and taken a few of the cages that could be moved for her own, particularly those she could fit larger creatures, like dogs, foxes, badgers, and even twolegs, in. Needed some way to store creatures for the stadium, after all.
Of course he was having fun. A sly grin spread across his face as he looked back at the proxy. "Hello Senescence." He mewed in greeting. "Hello Senescence" Came the parroted reply from the colorful bird in front of him. This only widened his grin, happy to see the bird didn't seem to be disturbed by their presence at all.
"How comes to work at the stadium?" He questioned, having heard of the work from one cat or another. "I've been meaning to talk to you about a booth once I'm able to get this place going." His icy blue eyes landed on her before dancing away to look at a large roach, much bigger than the one's he was used to seeing, walking across the side walk. "Interesting..."

"Market stalls set up and simply awaiting being rented. My district is already gathering supplies for their own shops." Senescence had only just recently announced she would rent them, but the cost was astronomical. It quite literally paid to be part of her district these days, at least if you hoped to turn a decent profit. And at least for the moment, she hadn't announced a willingness to give a discount to other high ranking members, even Funk E'tan. But, he hadn't stopped her yet, so she got away with it. "This stadium is the most work I've done in my lifetime, I'm sure of it."
She was the sort one usually found sleeping away in trees, so the stadium, the shops, taking responsibility for it all, was entirely out of her character, and one had to wonder why she did it. Maybe she was simply so bored that work actually seemed preferable. Or maybe she was plotting something. Not that she seemed the type to be plotting a revolution.
"An impressive feat indeed." He mewed, nodding as he drew his attention back towards her. "I intend to attempt to breed the smaller animals I find, do you think there would be interest in them if I would to try to sell them?" He was curious if the exotic insects and reptiles would have any medicinal value.. then were was the possibility they were venomous.. poison was always so much fun to play with. He'd have the speak with Innocentia about using some of her prisoners in his experiments.

"Oh, undoubtedly. If nothing else, they'd be interesting as exotic prey. Or for the more cunning, invasive species make great torment, or perhaps even fancy pets. I'm sure we can find use for them one way or other." Senescence nodded. They'd bring in a pretty penny too, she bet. She bet her mother would be interested in a few of them herself, or maybe even dear uncle Sean, if there was anything particularly rare or pretty. Of course, she could probably just sell him another duck-son and he'd be happy enough too.
