Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This is the third thread in the impact of SC and DC's apocalypse on NightClan. A massive storm has erupted in NightClan with heavy rains coming down, and fires on the territory. NightClan cats have fled to the camp, but they're starting to notice water levels rising drastically. Soaringstar and several other cats is out heading to help SunClan and DayClan who might have wound up in NightClan's land. Leaving Flamingsoul and a few other cats to try and get the cats in the camp to safety from the rising water levels.)
"Is this rain ever going to stop?" Marshpaw muttered. Even within the cavern system of NightClan's camp. They could hear the rain pounding on the winding path leading to the land above, and the water pounding against the pool of water at the bottom of the cenote.
"Probably not." Fierypaw snorted. "I wonder how it looks." She said heading in the direction of the cavern entrance that led to the winding path up and out of the cenote, as well as down to the cenote below.
She stuck her head out immediately hissing and pulling back at the cold pelting rain.
But even from her spot at the mouth of the cavern she noticed something.
The water in the cenote... was a lot higher than it shoud've been.
Ugh and Soaringstar had left to go check on DayClan and SunClan.
"Flamingsoul!" Fierypaw shouted trotting back into the main cavern where the camp was situated in. "The water in the cenote's rising! Dunno if that means anything."

"Doesn't mean anything good, that's for sure." Praline was one of the new Nightclan members, watching the water slowly rise. She had chosen to stay behind, largely cause she knew this camp area better than anywhere else. Her calico pelt was stuck to her skin, showing a lean figure that was more bone than anything else. She sat back down, just in earshot of Flamingsoul. A little shaky in exactly how she was going to fit in, she could at least establish herself by helping here, "The cave does continue up some but that could easily be our demise if this rain gets to be too much."
Flamingsoul perked her ears in surprise at the news her apprentice had given her. The pool was rising and soon, their cavern would be filled with water. "Has it risen over the path yet?" She asked Fierypaw. If the path was still clear, they may have a chance at escaping.
Fierypaw hesitated. "I don't think so, but the water's rising fast." She said. Her normal tone of disdain towards Flamingsoul lost in the moment of worry and fear over the situation. "What are we going to do?" She asked.
"We need to get as many cats out as we can. I want you to take charge and lead the rest of the apprentices out with the kits. Can you do that?" Flamingsoul asked, putting aside her harsh feelings toward her apprentice and feeling the responsibility of leadership weigh on her shoulders. She only hoped she was making the right choice getting the apprentices and kits out first while the rest of them exited last. Every instinct told her to flee and leave Nightclan behind but the nobility and honor she had once had as an apprentice was returning now that there was real danger.
