The smile that was trying to show itself faded and she looked up at him with beautiful silver-blue eyes. Her ears perked and she wondered if he meant that. Could she mean more to him than the rest of the she-cat he was with in the past? Her smile reappeared and she gave into her urge and pressed her forehead to his, letting out a loud purr.

Funk kept her gaze, watching the shift from a shy gaze to her eyes widening with hope. Hope that he meant it, hope that he'd choose her over everyone else, maybe even that the night had changed him; opened his eyes and all that. Even if it wasn't true, and he found the color of the dying sunset reflecting in her eyes more interesting. He purred though, unabashedly and loudly, pressing his forehead against her. "Sounds like I hit the bullseye, hmm?"
She smiled as she pulled away. "Oh come on, Funk. Dont kid yourself. You know how to reel in a girl. This is just a walk in the park for you." Most toms couldnt catch the eye of Mellori. She often used to her beauty to kill but there was something about him that she always found charming. She brushed her tail along his flank. "What does this mean for us? Where do we go from here?" Was she really the one to change him? Was she really different enough from the rest to capture his heart forever? She didn't know the answers to these questions but all she could do was hope. That was all she had. Even if he left her in the end, it would have all been worth it to have been the center of his attention for just a little bit.

Girl. Guy. Neither. Both. It was all the same. It appeared most people craved the same things at their core. The only thing he needed to do was find out how to get to that core, and drag it around at his will. Things were only kept interesting because the route was different each time. Last time was just a few words, this time he threw himself into a dog's jaws and escaped unscathed. Funk couldn't help but wonder what the next held. He found there was something charming about his apparent need to be fixed, the kind of sob story and wild tendencies to catch the attention of the easiest prey. It was a walk in the park, that was true. "I-I don't know." He paused intentionally, looking at the sunrise again. "I've never had to think about anything like this. I've always walked the same path, it's hard to consider breaking from it. But I'm willing to walk any path long as your there at my side."
A purr rumbled in her throat and she leaned into him, feeling his warmth. Was this what love felt like? She didnt even know she could feel love. This was strange and foreign to her but she liked it...a lot. "Me too..." she sighed.
(What do you want to do from here? We could...time skip on this thread and do more interactions with them, we could make a new thread for more interactions, they could end up having kits, or we could skip to the break up thread? Or, if you've changed your mind, they could stay together XP)
(Lol alright! Um...I think they should have kits XD just because I know that's how Funk is lol! And we can do the break up thread where she goes to tell him the news and then he tells her its over?)

(i mean it is. but i also don't want to force your hand. and I was thinking that after this, Funk just goes back to usual routine and ignores Mellori to where she breaks it off with him. but that works too)
