She felt the cold fill the space between them as Asterblossom withdrew, she wanted to stay like that for awhile longer but with the sun now gone from the sky she knew it was time to head back. "Of course I will, you're too pretty to walk alone." She smiled at the she-cat and winked as she stood.

Asterblossom giggled and twined their tails together as they started the walk home, the night suddenly so precious to her. "Will things change now, do you think?" Would they move their nests together, go on patrol together, eat together, groom each other? Asterblossom wanted to ask so many questions but felt so afraid of messing this up. The beginning. When things were the most simple and pure.
Wolfbee though about the question, would things change? And if so, what? "I suppose some things may change naturally, are you scared of that?" She was curious of what the she-cat was thinking, what changes were floating through her mind and were they good or bad.

Asterblossom seemed hesitate to answer but finally seemed to find her courage, "no, not... really. I'm more anxious about it, because it's all going to be entirely new to me. And, of course, what will the clan think? That worries me for a number of reasons. B-but not in a way that makes me want to hide anything," she added as soon as her words were out, realizing they sounded a bit rude.
Wolfbee let out an airy laugh, she must have the best luck to have found such an adorable thing like Asterblossom, even as she stumbled over her words Wolfbee couldn't help but feel her heart swell with joy. "I'll never judge you when you have concerns or worries, no matter how small you think they may be, I want to know what they are so that I can help put them to rest. Okay?" She didn't like secrets like that, how could she help if she didn't know something was wrong. "As far as the clan goes, they can think what they want, and if any of them upset you they will have me to deal with." Her voice grew serious, and she looked at the she-cat with intense green eyes. "I wont stand by while your being hurt in any way." Wolfbee knew Asterblossom was not born in the clan, but things such as that didn't bother her, of course it wasn't the same for some of their clanmates unfortunately, but now they had her to worry about if they tried anything unfavorable.

Asterblossom felt so wonderfully lost as she listened to Wolfbee. This was new territory for her, unfamiliar, but it seemed to promise a security and excitement that had her feeling giddy. Brave, even. Who cared what the clan thought? Her and Wolfbee were going to be great together and that's all that mattered. So, she nodded along and meowed with a tinge of confidence, "I think I'd like to move my nest right next to yours, if you'd be okay with that?" It may be to soon to sleep in the same nest, Asterblossom wouldn't dream of pushing that, but surely laying next to each other would be nice?
Wolfbee let out a loud purr and a wide smile appeared on her face. "I would very much love that, dear." She liked the idea of sleeping so close to Asterblossom, having her sweet scent within reach through the night, perhaps it would help her to sleep. "I'll help you move it when we get back." As they continued to walk she leaned down and licked the smaller she-cats ear gently.

The smaller cat felt protected, safe, as they padded along. She didn't expect that, especially not so quickly. But she also knew she'd quickly get used to it. When Wolfbee agreed she let out a thrilled little chirp, tail waving enthusiastically. "I can't wait! I know I'll be much more comfortable now, with you so close to me."
Camp was in view now but her old anxiety didn't surge up, instead she padded into it with her tail and head held high, the night belonging to her and Wolfbee. This was her first moment with the clan where she didn't feel alone and frightened. She had Wolfbee, to her that meant she was unstoppable now.
Wolfbee looked at the entrance to camp as it came into view and took a small breath, ready to show to everyone that she and Asterblossom were now together. "Are you ready?" She asked, looking down at the smaller she-cat with a smile.

(yes c: )
Asterblossom locked gazes with Wolfbee and nodded, sure but still nervous. Things were changing now. With a deep breath she entered camp.
[ and now we time skip ]
Blinking sleep from her eyes Asterblossom sat up in her nest, the quiet of dawn making it hard to wake herself up. As always, she immediately glanced to her side to look at Wolfbee as the other she-cat slept. It had been a half a moon since they'd moved their nests next to each other and Asterblossom doubted she'd ever sleep again without Wolfbee's scent in her nose. Feeling bold, Asterblossom crept into the other cat's nest and curled around her, pressing her head against Wolfbee's shoulder and purring softly to herself. Asterblossom was falling in love, clearly. The thought wasn't as terrifying as it should have been for her.
Wolfbee was sleeping deeply, but at the gentle touch of the she-cat beside her, she let her eyes flutter open. "Well good morning dear, how did you sleep?" She lifted her calico head slowly and pressed her nose against Asterblossoms cheek, she had been unsure how she would sleep with the change, but since they had moved their nests together Wolfbee had been sleeping better than she ever had before. Knowing Asterblossom was close by and having her scent always surrounding her put her mind at ease.

"Very well," Asterblossom answered, a stray yawn punctured her words but her eyes were bright and awake. "I was thinking of a dawn hunt, wanna join me? Or I can catch something for you?" The young warrior was much more energetic and excited since her and Wolfbee grew closer. All talk and thought of her leaving the clan had disappeared, evaporated by the sun Wolfbee seemed to shine upon her.
Her mouth opened wide in a yawn, and she sat up a little. "I would love nothing more than to go hunting with you." She purred at the offer, she needed to get out and stretch to wake herself up anyway, and hunting with the she-cat beside her, just the two of them filled her with happiness.

Asterblossom stood up to let Wolfbee sit up, her paws working excitedly into the nest. "Great! With newleaf almost here, all the prey will be back. I bet we'll start catching plenty of prey." They hadn't starved, but WinterClan always experience harsh leafbares and their measure of "starving" was perhaps a bit extreme. Indeed, Asterblossom was skinny and her coat sorta dull, but there was a bright light in her eyes. She was full of life and hope.
"I cant wait for new leaf to be here, I hate seeing everyone eating so little." She felt helpless during these times, it didn't matter how good you were at hunting because if there was no prey then that was it. Her eyes took in Asterbloom as she sat up completely, noting the dulness of her once bright pelt and the more defined lines that could be seen underneath, to see the she-cat she wanted to protect more than anything or anyone so small from the lack of food gripped her painfully. "Well let's get going, maybe we will find a fat squirrel waddling around." She let out a light laugh and nudged her softly.

Asterblossom nodded, "I hate it too, but we'll bring back prey this morning." The smaller she-cat laughed at Wolfbee as she trotted out of the den, "alright, alright, let's get going you impatient warrior." As they left the camp Asterblossom fluffed her thin fur up and hopped a little to warm up, tail waving, "anywhere you wanna hunt in particular?
Wolfbee followed her out of the den and smiled as she began to hop in place. "You are so adorable, I cant take it." She purred, her smile growing wider. "Why dont we head to the lake and see what we can find on the way." She fluffed up her own fur a little, it was thicker than Asterblossoms but still short and a strong breeze could easily cut through to her skin.

"The lake," Asterblossom agreed, purring happily at Wolfbee's compliment. "You're too sweet." The warrior took the lead, padding out of camp with gusto, the world quiet and soft, just for them.
