Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The deaf she-cat felt awkward around her mother. While she'd pushed her family away, she still couldn't exactly bring herself to completely forgive Pheionxriver for having changed Melodykit's name all those seasons ago. While she'd learned to move on and pretend like it didn't bother her as much as it did, it made it hard for her to talk to her mother like she'd used to when she was younger.
But in the seasons since, Petalfrost had made her own mistakes — some longer than others — and while she still couldn't understand some of her mother's decision, she could at least talk and spend time with the older she-cat. Neither were getting any younger and neither knew what would happen in the future.
Despite it being midday, Petalfrost couldn't see her mother. Was the old she-cat napping all day?
