Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Sun God was sick of it. Sick of their fighting, of their anger, their internalized rage exploding out in random moments. Lightning struck the ground, and he walked down from the heavens as a small kitten was birthed from the ashes of his fury. Pandora. The vengeful angel who would either bring them together or destroy everything they held dear.
"I'm done with you two. This is Pandora. From this moment on, she is your daughter and you are to raise her together. If you cannot put aside the wrath in your own hearts for your child here, then your clans will pay for your sins by her paw." And thus the leaders of the two clans had been given their hope, and their curse.
But she was not the only child born with such destructive power.
--
"I've decided I want to have Darkcomplex's kits." The rest of the words meant little to the deity as he listened to her plight. He could not bring himself to deny her request, and the leader soon gave birth to a single kitten who should not have lived, who was made to survive by his own power. And yet, there was something off about her that even he could not have predicted.
A danger to those around her, the seemingly demonic child was locked away in the Keeper's Mansion for the safety of those around her. Her own father ceased to come and see her after after she tried to trap him within the walls so that he would never leave her.
However, such powers can only be kept at bay, never truly contained for long.
Pandora was standing in the Mansion when it happened. The had been walking the edge for a long time, and for the most part had given up expecting for her happy ending. They couldn't do it. Foxstar and Glowstar just could not get along. Not for each other, not for her, not even for the lives those in of their own clans. She could feel herself unraveling, empathy slipping away to wrath, and the air heated around her at the very thought of her mothers. She could feel it building, feel the tension in the air around her and the feeble lives of the two clans nearby, aware they were watched, but unable to know it was she who saw them. The soon-to-be warrior reached further and she could begin to feel the she-cats who made her blood boil.
And then she tipped over the edge, just as her heightened perception fully reached them. All at once she felt her breath catch as though a strong wind stole it away, choking her, and then suddenly it was gone. It was like she was seeing everything for the very first time. Like what she'd felt before was nothing compared to now. It was the same old entryway, the same dust that clouded up around her as she walked, but suddenly, she could see more. The invisible chains that kept her dear sister Bluejay trapped in this place were as clear as day, all she had to do was reach out, and they crumbled against her will.
They left the Mansion together, fire and shadow, the building that held so many days, so many memories fading into the background as wrath reigned.
--
The two clans had been driven to the border they shared. Everyone from the oldest Senator to the youngest kit, and already, bodies littered the ground. Foxstar and Glowstar were nowhere to be seen, they'd gone out that morning, and then everything had gone to hell. No one knew where they were, but at least for the moment, cats were more concerned with surviving the onslaught than where their leaders might be at this very moment.
Fire wreathed around the young she-cat, crimson and gold and blue. It danced along her pelt and made the battlefield an inferno, the air rippling and sickeningly hot, ash turning the sky to a hazy gray. Where snow had laid mere hours before, the plain was bone dry and scorched, black ribbons written across the ground where the flames had already touched. Pandora's green eyes glowed white, and one by one cats fell to her. Bluejay was right by her side, death coming just as swiftly to those who had the pleasure of facing her.
Auburnsplash barely had the time to scream as the fire engulfed him and he fell, rolling around on the ground. But it was too late, and soon the tom fell still, his body burnt beyond recognition. Hope was quickly running out as cats scrambled to find a way to subdue the supernatural pair.
(( Alright everyone, time for your cats to fight for their lives! With her destiny now come to pass, Pandora has released the chains on her sister Bluejay's prison, and the pair are now doing their very best to kill each and every cat in both clans, having pushed them from their camps all the way to where their territories meet. It's chaos as cats struggle to dodge attacks, while also trying to figure out what is going on and seek out any way to stop these two from completely destroying both clans, their leaders nowhere in sight. With all the back and forth, cats mixed together, it's hard to even tell where the border is anymore. If you would like to kill off any of your characters in either clan, now is a great moment to do so! Even if you don't want to kill off your characters, or don't have cats in these clans, you are free to create cats from DayClan & SunClan to die. ))
(Sunset can lose a few lives, and I can create some cats to die too XP)
"Get the kits to safety!" Sunset yowled desperately herding her kits and several others she'd grabbed from the nursery towards the border. The border seemed to be the furthest from the chaos seemingly raging on both sides. If they just followed it she could push the little ones to the gathering place. Her kits were with her, Radiantkit's ears flattened against her little head, the she kit pressing in close to her mother's side eyes wide. The former leader of NightClan continued to herd the kits as best she could, pelt feeling hot from the heat, and the screams ringing in her ears. "Keep going little ones," She urged trying to keep her voice somewhat calm, though there was a shakiness to her mew. She had lives to spare, but her children and the innocent young ones she struggled to get to safety would be easy prey for this madness.
///---///
Skipstep's ears were flat, he had been woken and gotten to his feet when the chaos had already broken out. Unable to waste time trying to discern the situation and instead grab his and Littlebird's children and run. Leaving the litter with Sunset who was doing her best to try and guide the frightened little ones of SunClan to the gathering place, Skipstep doubled back heading towards the thick of it. He hadn't seen Littlebird or Jetclaw yet, and his heart clenched with fear for his sibling and his beloved.
A cat, Auburnsplash burst into flames near him and Skipstep jumped back, every hair on his pelt standing on end. He turned his head slightly and spotted Pandora at the source. "Pandora?" He said sounding shocked. "What are you doing?" He asked drawing back a step. He couldn't fight fire, the memory of the horrible blaze that brought about SunClan's great transition still clear in his mind. Even as he asked the question he was already looking for an escape route. A way out.
///---///
"Cats of DayClan try to stay together!" Rubyflame called. But it was already a mess of cats. It was hard to discern SunClan from DayClan anymore as they were pressed together, chaos unfolding all around them, the supernatural she cats that were at the source of it from what Rubyflame had heard, not even in her sight but it was still just chaos And it filled the ginger and white she cat with terror to her core. After nearly losing both lives to Foxstar, she'd thanked her lucky stars for the Sun God and Littlebird saving her life. Now she wondered if it hadn't been a gift but a curse, a dark promise to die to this madness instead. Rubyflame's breath caught in her throat and she could feel the rising panic.
///---///
Mysterypaw desperately looked for Sweetiepaw. In this madness she was desperate to find and latch onto the cat she'd come to recognize as a friend. Plus Sweetiepaw was tough, and together they could see this through right? Sweetiepaw would reassure Mysterypaw they had nothing to be scared of, they were tough and toughest together. It was so hard to feel tough when there was chaos and flames everywhere.

Sunclan: At any other time the bright shimmering color carefully painted onto Littlebird's pelt would have made her stood out in the crowd, but now she blended in with the flames that seemed to be coming from all directions. Confusion had taken hold of both clans, as the cats began to fall one by one to the blazing inferno. Littlebird remained towards the back of the group, trying to give the kits and senators time to get away. She had been forced to leave her children with sunset, it was the only way to retain order on the back lines to try and delay the two advancing cats for long enough. The scent of burning fur and flesh filled her nose, the heat almost unbearable. The warriors who had remained behind with her faced almost certain death as Pandora and Bluejay closed the distance between them. "Stand strong" her voice called out to the dayclan and sunclan cats that stood at her side. With both Glowstar and Foxstar gone, she was one of the only authority figures left to take command "The longer we hold them off, the longer the others have to get away" Her voice was calm and confident, hiding her inner turmoil. The painful wound across her throat from her attempted suicide broke open as she spoke, blood trickling out from under the cobwebs. Foxstar had a rather cruel sense of humor, to save her life only to have to face the total destruction of the clan.
Bluejay cracked her neck on both sides, a playful smirk crooked on her lips. Pandora always seemed so bent up out of shape about this whole duty thing that the Sun God gave to her. But come on, they were both in someway products of the Sun God, she needed to relax. Her tail whipped the back end of Pandora as she leapt playfully to the left as if anticipating Pandora would lash out at her, "Come on, promise me we're gonna have fun today. I mean look how beautiful it is outside. I have never seen a forest on fire," She said right before hacking up some smoke from the fire, "It's beautiful," She rasped with a joking grin, "But really, fire," She kissed her paw, "Mwah, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous."
"Now then," Bluejay said, a devilish smile moved ear to ear, the toes of her paws wiggling with excitement, "Let's start the show."
Her shadow black claws slashed across the open air leaving a long swirly black portal open. With an unexpected thud an inky black piece of sludge, the size of a cat dropped down from the portal with a disturbing wet sound on impact. Bluejay scooped up the sludge by its scruff and gave it a gentle lick before dropping it. Two large haunting blue eyes opened wide, the pupils darting back and forth fast. Slowly the inky figure stood up, watery and formless at first, but as shadows began to wick around the surface the sludge took the form of a cat. A crooked smile rose to the shadowy cats lips like it was an organ more than it was a smile of emotion.
Just behind Bluejay another lump of inky blackness fell from the portal, then another. Bluejay walked back to Pandora's side, "Oh, we are going to have FUN tonight!"
SUNCLAN "HAS ANYONE SEEN PANDORA!? She's my darling sister. This big," He said placing a paw up in the air to show his sisters size even though everyone knew who Pandora was. They all lived in the same clan, he didn't need to describe her, "PANDORA!?"
At this point it was every cat for themselves. Autumngossamer had made sure the herbs were at least 5 feet deep underground away from the flames as well as any other valuables such as the paints before running off. Her brown eyes stretched wide when she exited SunClan's camp and saw that as far as the horizon there was fire, even in DayClan. How far did the flames stretch? Did they even have anywhere to run to?
Fuzzyheart was quick to have absolutely no sense of a warrior code, grab Peachblush and run. Then realizing he almost forgot his little sister, went back and grabbed Sweetiepaw, only at some point he lost Sweetiepaw while running, "DAMMIT! Ugh, alright, just stay with me Peach, I'm gonna go try and find her and I don't need to lose you on top of all this.
Sweetiepaw looked around nervously for Fuzzyheart, Peachblush, or her friend Mysterypaw. The flames were in all directions, slowly closing in on her and she couldn't tell if she was headed in the right direction or not, "Can anyone help me!?" She called out.
Zephyrglade stood at the entrance of camp, "If we move fast to the Spirit Glen I can swim the kits across into MoonClan territory!"
He had already lost WaterClan, he wasn't about to fail this clan.
DayClan Faith Mysterypaw's ears swivelled in the direction of her friends voice, distantly picking it up in the roar of the flames. "Sweetiepaw!" She cried turning and heading in the direction of her friends voice, dodging around flames as best she could. "Sweetiepaw! Keep talking I can't see anything through this fire!" She cried.
//---///
Illuminatedpath came up to Zephyrglade encumbered with his kits, carrying the littlest in his mouth by it's scruff, with others on his back. "Then let's go! We need to save the kits!" He said. He could see sludgy creepy shadowy entities surrounding camp, and his throat felt tight with panic.
///---///
Electricwolf launched himself at the inky black shapes that were hounding his clanmates, lashing out trying to slash where it's throat would be?
(Faith what happens if you touch the shadowy beast things bluejay summoned?)
SunClan
Skipstep turned his head towards the sound of his mate's voice. "Littlebird!" He called, worry in his mew, though he kept an eye on Pandora and Bluejay out of the corner of his eye. Not mousebrained enough to have them out of his sight, while he was too close. There was no fighting these things, no fighting the fire that wreathed around Pandora. And he knew Littlebird was still recovering from what had happened. She was in no shape for this! racer
The smallest smile found it's way to Pandora's face as she glanced over to her sister. Bluejay, the only cat who truly understood her, truly cared. She was willing to listen to every complaint, every bout of random anger or moment that she wrestled with fate. There was no person she's rather burn the world with. The flames reached higher, and a coil whipped itself out towards the voice that reached her ears, before she even registered it as Duskslayer's. It would have connected too, if not for the fact that Darkcomplex bowled his son over, sending them both tumbling.
SUNCLAN "Pandora is the one covered in fire." The tom answered grimly when they stopped tumbling. His lungs already hurt from the smoke inhalation, and the tip of his tail was definitely charred.
Mountainsound was on the edge of the battlefield with some of the cats with more minor injuries. If second and third degree burns could really be considered minor except when the other option was death. She poured cool water over them and rubbed salve over it, though supplies were quickly running low. There was only so much they were willing to use when everything was getting scorched, after all. But she was just trying to get cats in as good of shape as possible so they could try and flee, though their options seemed limited at best. Burns already rippled up her front legs from pulling burning cats away from the line of fire and doing her best to put out the flame. At least there was one comfort, water still put out the flames, no matter how powerful.
DAYCLAN Ianius stumbled around. To be honest, he wouldn't have believed it, and he was still half certain it was a delusion. It had to be, right? There was no way that could be real. Perhaps that was why he was strangely calm as he approached Sweetiepaw, rubbing a paw across tired eyes. "What is it?" The tom questioned his young aunt, pausing at her side with an almost quizzical look on his face.
Fia Cendrillon cursed as she dodged one of those black... things. Well, rumor had Glowstar's children were related to demons, but somehow, this wasn't exactly sure what her grandmother usually meant. For that matter, where the heck was she?
Wanderingwight had picked a bad day to be in DayClan. An apocalypse. Well, this was new. The Lucifern dodged nimbly, in and out of the darkness and the fire, a whirlwind that made her mission tackling the cats out of the paths of the attacks. She didn't really focus on anything but making sure other cats weren't hit, all the while debating on whether she could get around to one of them and kill them before she herself lost her life.

SUNCLAN: Lovesmitten only had one thing only on his mind, finding Autumngossamer. While the rest of the clan scattered and rushed trying to find a way out, her searching for the familiarity of his mate's pelt. "Autumngossamer" he called loudly, his heart pounding in his chest as he searched for a glimpse of her.
"LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LAAA!♫♩" Sweetiepaw sang out trying to keep singing so Mysterypaw could locate her, but eventually her singing developed into harsh coughing. The smoke was beginning to clog up her nose and throat. She looked up at Ianius, "I don't know, but it doesn't seem like a ghost to me."
Zephyrglade took two of the kits and walked into the water, his head held high to keep them above the surface as much as he could. Suddenly he saw something slip into the water or at least he thought he saw a disturbance... He kept paddling, but instinct hit him like a bolt of lightning striking through his pelt, a large sense of dread filling every fiber of his being. He turned around and saw a large dark shape headed towards him. What could be that big in a river!? He began to paddle quicker, but the kits were now deep enough in the water for their chins to be wet. But if he didn't try to paddle faster whatever that thing was would get him and the kits!
The inky blackness lied flat onto the ground in an attempt to dodge Electricwolf, but it was too late, he had already pinned the creature. Only thing was Electricwolf went right through the cat and instead was stuck inside its gelatin body. Pearly white sharp teeth stretched into a smile as the inky creation stared up at Electricwolf, the whites of eyeballs popping into the once blank face of the cat before the white eyeball rolled over to reveal a mimicked eyeball of Electricwolf's. It was transforming into him and worse Electricwolf was stuck in the black substance.
SUNCLAN
"Pandora would never betray SunClan, she's a gift from the Sun God!" Duskslayer hissed at the tom.
"Are you okay?" Hottie asked Lovesmitten rather casually, as though the camp weren't on fire. It was no surprise to her, she did have a vision about this.

SUNCLAN "I'm fine" answered Lovesmitten, even though he was still frantically running though the crowd "I just need to find Autumngossmer. I cant find her any where"

DAYCLAN Ianius shook his head slightly. Given his own experiences, he didn't much trust his own judgement, but Sweetiepaw was another matter. He highly doubted she'd just string him along. "Then we should go. We're no use to anyone dead." The tom answered, rubbing chartreuse eyes that began to burn and water with the smoke. He didn't really want to leave, but he was pretty sure Fuzzyheart would never forgive him if he just let Sweetiepaw stay here and get herself killed. The warrior knew he wouldn't be able to, anyway. "We'll see if we can spot them on our way out."
Fia glanced back, only to see whatever the thing was envelope Electricwolf. That was just her luck, wasn't it? Be right next to the demonic ink blob as it transformed into another cat. Turning sharply, she lunged for him, digging claws into his scruff and pulling back sharply in an effort to dislodge him. It was a lot harder than it looked, particularly because she was trying her best to avoid actually touching any of the dark substance.
SUNCLAN "Who's to stay this isn't the Sun God's plan?" Darkcomplex didn't exactly seem to like the thought, but he couldn't deny what he'd seen. As much as it would hurt his son, the warrior wasn't about to lie. "Never mind my speculation. But it's her, plain as day." He rubbed a paw over his face, soot streaking across barely different colored eyes.
It was only ten minutes ago that Foxstar had finally become enough of a pain in her neck that she, of course took a nice long walk along the forest side. And of course, they forgave, Foxstar sweet talked her as usual and it was at that beautiful moment between eternity and love that Glowstar had thrown Foxstar into a ditch and buried her alive. It was also at that moment that the forest caught on fire. But nah that couldn't be connected. Then again unnatural disasters were happening all around her... Ugh, c'moOooOOOOon. Glowstar looked at the ditch. How many times was Foxy going to manipulate her and she was going to forgive because Foxy had turned a new leaf. She was enlightened. She was different this time.
"Ugh, fine, you win like you always do. Your gods throwing another one of his tantrums. Well I guess technically he's my God too," Glowstar said aloud thoughtfully as she dug into the ditch before recovering Foxstar and pulling her out by the scruff.
"Heyyy. So. Your clans on fire," Glowstar said before her head followed after a massive ball of fire and watched it land into the dry wheat of DayClan.
"AW COME ON. You precious little orchid of a God, get over yourself, you can fight with your brother, but I can't fight and bury Foxstar alive? Where's the fairness? Where is my justice?" Glowstar complained before looking reluctantly at Foxstar and mumbling something that Foxstar couldn't even make out before repeating herself, still mumbling but more clear, "wanna save the world with me?"
SUNCLAN
Hottie gave a sympathetic look, which was probably difficult for her given her usual stiff emotionless expression, "She's in DayClan, she went to visit Flyingcolors."
Duskslayer looked to his dad and then at Pandora, he had to make it over to her. He headed into the flames quick as lightning.
DAYCLAN
Sweetiepaw moved close to Ianius, "Okay... Let's go."
Bluejay's eyes were alight watching the flames, "I can't wait till those cats are no more than smeared black shadows on the ground. They had it coming you know, there was just no hope for them. Always fighting with one another, never capable of peace for the better good of everyone. They were doomed to fail and I know you Pandora, so don't go blaming yourself like you could have made a difference, they were born with sin, unlike us."
