this is the second part of the peter pan plot and will be taking place at the same time as the first part. in this thread, cats from all around the clans create a search party to try and find the lost kits, taken away by the evil Peter Pan cat named Draculad. throughout this thread, I will add trails the cats most work through to find the kits. part 3 will be the conclusion thread, where the clan members will be reunited with their kits but first, there must be a fight. mahaha this thread will end when they get to "Pleasure Island."
The small group of cats gathered just outside of Rogue territory. Nervous murmurs echoed around, everyone was scared and the dreadful weather was not helping. Kits from all over the clans had gone missing and these certain cats gathered in a small clearing today, had banded together in an attempt to find the lost children. Rain poured down, every cat's fur stood on end. It was not a good atmosphere.
The party was led by Baron, he knew of the cat Draculad, because he had experienced his evilness before, along with Beautifuldream. They had their suspicions on what had happened and thus had gathered this party of cats together. The only information they currently had: Draculad would most likely be hiding somewhere in the big world of Twolegs and that they better get going soon before the storm rolled in. All very helpful information.
Beautifuldream stepped up onto a tall stone. "Everyone!" She called. "We are about to take part on a quest, one to save the lives of some innocent kittens. Me and Baron know the cat who's behind this, he is one evil guy and not a cat to be fooled with. I'm sure he has other cats with him, so once we find the place he is hiding the kits in, most likely somewhere that Twolegs dwell, there may be a fight. Make sure you are well rested." She paused, glancing at Baron. "Anything else?"
Hazelcascade watched on from the back of the crowd, her breath caught in her throat. Both Flowerkit and Burningkit from SunClan were missing and to make things worse, Burningkit was royal blood. She had decided so long as the two SunClan kits came back home safe, that would be the best she could do. She felt for the other kits too but she sensed if there was going to be a battle, it would be impossible to save everyone. She was kinda annoyed she hadn't had any visions of where they might be, but for some reason, her visions had been limited. She could only hope she might have one soon.
"Ah so you're finally about to give the devil his due?" A calm voice mused as Undertow stalked up to the party. He nodded to Baron and Beautifuldream. "Got room for one more friends?" He cocked his head. He figured the other cats were here for their stolen kits that Draculad had lured off, but Undertow's primary concern was Draculad. And taking down the tom, he had little love for.
Squirrelleap dug his claws into the ground. Dreamkit had been taken along with Lingeringkit. He knew his adopted daughter was a big day dreamer and very skittish. How this tom had lured her, he wouldn't know. But he knew Dreamkit was in danger.
Baron stood erect at Beautifuldream's side, his jade eyes piercing as he took in the sight of group of cats before him. The mixture of scents and damp, wet earth overwhelmed the Loner's sense. It had been many moons since he was apart of any kind of group. The idea unnerved him, though externally, his smug smirk masked his inner turmoil well. Never would he have found himself joining a group of cats under any circumstances. The responsibility was obnoxious and to deal with so many different minds and personalities was tiresome, but Baron overlooked the trouble the moment a small group of cats approached him and provided him not only a story of kidnapping, but a familiar name. A fire rekindled in the loner as it was revealed a cat by the description of a cat he knew many, many moons ago was brought up by these groups of cats. Draculad. The black tom's brows furrowed at the thought of the familiar name. How could he forget that name and the memories that came with it. It didn't take much hesitation for the Loner to offer his help, though it was not as chivalrous as the group might have thought it was.
Baron shurgged with nonchalance, his eyes bright in the night as he took in Beautifuldream "You took the words right out of my mouth love." His deep and silk voice was thick with confidence and charm. He took a long enough pause before turning back to the rest of the group, charm still attached as he caught the sights of the many different cats around him "Rest up kitties, we've got plenty of territory to search tomorrow."
His orbs met those of Undertow and brightening as his own grin widened "We can always use another pair of claws when treading into battle with the Devil himself."
Urania could barely pay attention to what the self-appointed leaders of this group were saying to her, the beautiful cream tabby's eyes staring blankly down at her paws, which kneaded anxiously at the cold dirt. How could she possibly rest right now? Her sonswere out there with that madman. Orion and Cygnus, nearly five moons old now, had disappeared without warning several days earlier, and both she and her mate had spent every waking moment since then searching for them. The young kittypet sighed tiredly as she wrapped her slender tail around herself in comfort. It was only by chance that she had stumbled upon these clan cats today, who had quickly pieced together the connection between their missing kits and her own sons. Unfortunately, Landon was somewhere on the complete opposite side of the twoleg jungle right now, with no way to contact him. It was all up to her now. Landon himself had been a warrior once; he was a fighter, she wasn't. What was she supposed to do? Suddenly, the worried mother felt another tail brush up and down her back comfortingly, and Urania looked up at one of the only friendly faces she knew in the group: Landon's sister.
"Hey, we're gonna find your kits, Urania. There's nothing to worry about. They're smart kits, they'll be fine." Tinybreath's heart went out to the young mother; having adopted and raised kits herself, she could only imagine what her brother and sister-in-law must've been going through. The lithe black she-cat silently thanked Starclan that the two of them had managed to run into each other at all. Initially, this had just been an ordinary patrol with Dawnmemories looking for Wavekit and Sunnykit, who had snuck out of camp. Of course, it quickly escalated when they found the kits' scent mixed in with the scent of a trespassing rouge, and then found the other clan patrols, looking for missing kits of their own...and then to discover her own nephews were among them... The Summerclan warrior suppressed a shiver. What kind of cat wasthis Draculad, who was able to kidnap so many kits with seemingly no effort whatsoever?

Dawnmemories had struck out to find the missing SummerClan kit, Sunnykit, without hesitation. He was a bit of a bad apple, she must admit, but Sunnykit belonged with SummerClan. Wavekit did too, though she'd only learned of his disappearance recently. Dawnmemories had found others looking for their missing kits too and she'd fallen in with them immediately. With such a villain out there, it was best to tackle them in numbers. Now Beautifuldream was giving them the information they would need to find this cat and Dawnmemories flexed her claws into the earth in anticipation. She was an even-tempered, kind cat, but there was a fire in her eyes that promised bloodshed now. No cat stole clan kits and got away with it.
Tinybreath, a fellow SummerClan warrior, was there too and it comforted Dawnmemories to know that her clan was taking action. Wavekit and Sunnykit were as good as saved now.
Saltpile had stumbled upon her father a few days earlier and learned of his search, and after some quiet debate agreed to search around the clans while her mate joined her father on the far side of twolegplace. She'd run into the gathering group of cats but chose to linger at the back of the crowd until she was certain of their purpose. She didn't know anything about a draculad, whatever it was, but they were all here looking for missing kits. That wasn't a coincidence. As her gaze fell on her aunts the lean black she-cat stood up, shook out her white paws and slipped up to join them with a sharp grin. It had been a long time since the loner saw her family. "If they're anything like my litter, they're probably the leaders of this whole debate and the ones leading the other kits astray," she assured Urania.
The dark gray tom hid in the bushes as he listened to the cats discuss. After some prodding he'd gone out to look for the kits himself and followed some cats to the meeting, but he wasn't about to join them. He hadn't caught sight of his clanmates, just a bunch of strangers that made his coat prickle. Sootstep always misliked rogues and incidents like this were the reason why.

Beautifuldream nodded kindly at Undertow as he padded up to her and Baron. "Always." She meowed, dipping her head. She was extremely glad for the extra helping paw. Smiling kindly at the worried clan members below, she sighed, glancing at Baron. "I'm afraid we've rested all we can. It's time we begin our long journey. It may be a while until we see our home clans again but do not fear; We are strong and proud. We will find our kits and bring them safely home." She smiled. It was important to keep everyone feeling positive.
Hazelcascade dipped her head. Good. The sooner they left the better. Without much hesitation, the silver tabby she-cat turned on her paws and padded quickly to the edge of the clearing, her gazing lingering on the hazy sky. Blinking, a sudden picture crossed her visions; thunder striking down on a tree. Concern crossed her face as she turned to the others. "A storm is setting in." She meowed. "We must make haste."
