Glasses hid the dark circles that seemed to permanently reside under the Nemesis' eyes. His days tended to consist of dizzying amount of paperwork and somehow trying to maintain control of his group of misfits. Some days were better than others, but it was a constantly tiring act he had to suddenly put up. Today was different. Those things were impossible most days but were especially so when he happened to glance at the news on his phone on the way to the bus stop. A video was playing on one of the news sites, and he had to rub his green eyes with the back of a gloved hand to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Live footage of the police surrounding the League's main headquarters was circulating everywhere. Sure enough, he could swear he heard the sounds of helicopters in the distance. News reporters scurried about, each surely from a different station as they clamored to get the information out. Funk E'tan could barely make all the words out in his haze of confusion but when he came to, he heard one of the reporters said the police got a hot tip about their location.
"You have got to be #$@*!^ kidding me? Who the &!++ leaked this %&*? to the press?" Funk groaned, running a hand through his stupidly spiky auburn hair as he opened up the main Primal Instinct chat.
Alright chumps, who spilled our location and are they dead yet?
Jazz nearly walked into the police barricade, too busy paying attention to his phone. Slipping his phone in his pocket after a quick text he looked around at all the cops. Jazz was never out front as he worked behind the scenes, regardless with his shaved head and nearly golden eyes he was noticeable. Pulling a hat over his head he slipped into the gathering crowd before disappearing down the street. So this was not ideal even if he had his own place, there were still things in that building that could connect him to certain unsavory deeds. So apparently he was going to have to move again and he loved his loft. The decor had finally been finished, it had taken sometime as all the interior decorators in this city were incompetent.
[Jazz] Not sure, but I can arrange something. I might even do something myself.
Nora glanced down at her phone as it lit up with several notifications. Fantastic, this was just great. When she had her own little gang, this never happened, Nora had ran a tight ship. Perhaps it had been a smaller group with lower level crimes, but still. If no one else was going too, she would bring it up to Funk herself. She may not be in charge, but she would be damned she let this nonsense slip by. It was probably one of the new-comers, one just could not trust them. The slim brunette with a super short bob, glance over at her brother. Henri was currently stealing some plant from the botanical garden. This was why she could ever take him places. Nora had just tried to do some sibling bonding as they just recently reconnected. Her baby blue eyes glanced over at the security guard who sucked at his job.
[Nora] I mean are any of you really surprised? This was bound to happen.
Henri meanwhile was completely ignoring his phone. He really only carried it because sometimes it was useful. Right now he was trying to steal a lovely looking peyote. This place was asking for it anyway, they had it labeled and not even in a fence. To be fair it was pretty far in the exhibit, far enough that he had to climb into it. Pulling out a little pot from his bag, he transplanted it. Nestling it back into his bag, he returned to his sister. "Okay time to go." He pulled her with him. His shaggy brown hair would have fallen past his shoulders if he had not tied it back. His deep green eyes were filled with excitement as the pair wandered off into the city.
Where Senescence was, no one was ever really sure. But wherever it was, it apparently had good internet.
Phantasm: Lucistic why don't you go out and talk to them for us? Put that "Meat Shield" title to good use.
She glanced out of the window, setting down her phone in favor of picking the laptop out of the backpack. A few clicks and some passwords later, and she was looking at the police barricades from the cameras situated at headquarters. Perks of running a section dedicated to themselves was that she got all the fancy technology to spy on their own. Took some getting used to, and more than a few online tutorials, but now she could pull up a view of the main areas in the building, the hallways and outside from her computer. This outbreak reminded her, however, that she probably needed to start 'borrowing' the phones of the rest of the League.
The Proxy had been working on some spyware she wanted to test out on Funk, without letting him know, of course. It would be quite useful if she could read through their private messages, see who they called, and track where they went. Invasive? Absolutely, but apparently it was needed if someone was tipping off the police.
Phantasm: In the meantime, the rest of you at least try not to get yourselves killed or arrested. I'm not cleaning up the blood stains.

Funk leaned against a nearby fence, almost throwing his phone back into his pocket. What a pain. They were going have to cull through so much garbage to figure out who did this. For now, he spun on his heel, beginning the walk back home. Course he wasn't surprised, but it felt like they had just moved. He was gonna have to send Hayate to the police station to get his prized parachute flower.
Lucky: do what you want for now. we'll meet up once it cools down
"Now to pray no one does anything stupid." Really, there was no point in praying. Something was bound to happen. For now, he just needed to get back home.
