Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Immortal Council member lazily drew one paw through the layer of snow on DayClan territory. It was that time of year. That time where blizzards raged and suddenly their land was inhospitable, the lack of trees letting the place turn into a wasteland of white that killed anything that dared to try and traverse it. Soon, once again, they would be caught in that impossible situation where they had to move, or hole up in the Mansion again. But at least for the moment, that did not seem possible.
So Fia Cendrillon had asked Goldenphantom to meet her by the apple orchard to talk. They were the younger cats. In many ways, they hadn't proven themselves like Windchaser and Rubyflame had. Not that she necessarily felt the need to prove herself. But she did want to discuss first with the other cat in this odd new position about their options before listening to the others. Perhaps they could come up with something better. Or maybe they'd get distracted by new endeavors. Though she had the one thing she wanted to talk about and maybe explore some, there really was no other plan.
Which was fine. She wasn't the sort of cat who had ever had anything in her life planned out, and the chances of this being a catastrophic failure were high. So most likely everything would be thrown out the window. Honestly, she felt it more important to get to know the other she-cat than actually coming up with anything profound. Which was odd to think of, that she was seeking out another cat's company. But she suppressed that feeling, curling an ashen tail over her paws to warm them while she waited.

A shiver was sent up the newest Immortal Council member's spine. Her pink nose tickled as she paused in her trek through the snow. Tilting her head up, she waited. But no sneeze came and Goldenphantom dropped her head and rubbed the back of her paw against her nose. The snow that laid on the ground was fairly inconvenient, she was glad she had a longer coat compared to some of her clanmates. The golden tabby already was finding herself missing the luxurious fields that normally presided over land. There were no frogs to hop with, no flowers to make crowns from, and not enough leaves to jump in. But she couldn't let those thoughts rule over her.
Today, she was asked to meet Fia Cendrillon at the Apple Orchard, one of Golden's favorite places in the territory. Goldenphantom didn't know most of the other Council members, only knowing Windchaser through her daughter, Buttercupkit. She was extremely excited to have been asked to meet with her. Compared to most days, she was getting back to chipper mood. Getting to curl up next to Pythoncrush at night helped ward off her nightmares and fears. A small change, but she was at least getting more sleep than before. Her amber eyes were back to looking alive. Still, she ended up avoiding him a lot, unsure how to go about anything involving him.
So this was greatly convenient as she spotted the grey and black she-cat in the distance. Picking up her pace, she bounded through the snow somewhat clumsily. Goldenphantom especially knew little about Fia, only really seeing her by herself or with Wanderingwight, speaking even less. Fia was captivating if nothing else. Pelt sprinkled with snow, she passed by the rotting apples on the ground that didn't get picked in time. She smiled warmly at the other she-cat, "Hello Fia. How are you?"
"Just fine. Trying to figure out where we're going this leaf-bare, really. We can't expect shelter in NightClan, or to be trapped in SunClan this time, and we definitely don't want the latter with Foxstar's state this time around. The Keeper's Mansion is a possibility, but that's rather unlikely for a few reasons. I figured we could get to know each other and maybe come up with a few ideas of our own." Fia offered, her tail twitching what was probably a greeting as the she-cat arrived, only adding another two words as an afterthought. "And you?"

Goldenphantom must have joined shortly after Dayclan had moved back to this area. She wasn't aware they needed to move for leafbare, but it made sense as she looked over the expanse of fields. She settled down next to the grey and black cat, nodding as she spoke. Her tail swiping behind her, she felt a rotting apple behind her. Pulling it to her free side, she rolled it around with her paw as she considered Fia's last question. How was she, really? "Fairly well." Was what she answered, "Not that I ever expected my life to go in the direction it has, especially becoming Immortal Council." Would talking about toms be too much? Probably. She didn't want to bring it up unless Fia prodded her, and she didn't seem like the type to. "Let's see... what about the chinatown area in the city? I know it's really close to PI, b-but I think we're on good terms."
