The young she-cat had yet to mentor an apprentice, so when she'd been approached about mentoring Specterpaw she'd agreed eagerly. Now, the first night of training had arrived. The black she-cat had planned thoroughly for this and could hardly contain herself as she waited for her apprentice to join her by the fresh-kill pile.
(I saw this but didn't have time to reply and when I came back I couldn't find it, I am so sorry!)
Specterpaw had been waiting for this day since he was a kit, finally he would start his training to be a warrior of Moonclan! He was saddened by the thought of not getting to spend as much time with his siblings, his twin sister Eeriepaw especially, but he knew that they would be training hard as well and so he would do his best. The large apprentice lifted himself out of his nest, his thick black and white frosted pelt groomed to an appropriate state, and slipped out of the apprentices den to meet with his new mentor. "Oh, there she is." He purred as his eyes scanned the camp, landing on Geminidream as she waited near the freshkill pile. He trotted up to her and smiled, his attention landing on her miss-matched eyes, how pretty. "Hello Geminidream, I'm ready whenever you are."

[ it's all good, I forgot tagging was a thing. For I am STILL not used to this forum Also, we should do a thread with this litter, I'm really want to develop Eeriepaw more c: ]
"Specterpaw," she meowed, voice warm and friendly. It seemed she was having one of her good days, sometimes she was a bit... volatile, "great, let's go ahead and get started then." They would be hunting today and Geminidream already had a surprise for the new apprentice. She led him out of camp and a bit and stopped once more, turning towards him with a questioning look in her dual-colored eyes, "do you know which type of prey is hardest to catch?"
Specterpaw smiled widely and followed the warrior out of camp, stopping behind her as she turned to face him. What prey is hardest to catch? Humm, did he know that? "Um... a bird?" He honestly didn't know, but they seemed like they would be difficult because they could fly so maybe he was partially right.

"Correct," Geminidream meowed, pride in her voice. "Birds. Not only do they fly, which is aggravating alone, but they are keen animals and quick to spot us. You have to be light-footed, fast, and smart in order to catch a bird. Especially a crow." The black she-cat glanced around before ripping a fern out of the ground and placing it a few fox-lengths from Specterpaw. "Alright, so, I want to see your natural instincts. Pretend this is a bird and show me how you'd hunt it, right now, with no instruction."
