Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lionpride could feel his heart thrumming in his chest, as the warrior ceremony came to a close. Surely all cats felt similarly during their own ceremony, but this time he was on edge for a very different reason. Not even two sun rises ago the cat that now announced his warrior name to the clan had tried to kill him.
He had difficulty tearing his eyes away from the crazed priestess, waiting for some sort of catch. She had made it plainly clear that he was on kill list, and that if even the slightest opportunity presented itself she wouldn't hesitate. As soon as the ceremony ended, he sank back into the crowd and disappered into the background trying to escape the violence of her gaze. So fat only his mother and father had known what had happened, and he felt it eating away at it him as he was becoming more and more paranoid.
Right now there was only one cat that he felt like he could trust, as he began to seek her out in the sea of faces.CleaverHoneystorm
She didn't know the proper place for an initiate at an event like this. Far from the center, she suspected, and perhaps she shouldn't have come at all, but how could see resist? In the end the lean cream she-cat found herself at the fridges of the crowd, grateful for once that she was tall enough to look over the heads of some of the cats and strain to make out Lionpride. It was quiet even here at the back. The Priestess could command respect from her cats in spite of her madness, or perhaps because of it; if this was her old home there would be soft bored chatter between the young warriors shifting impatiently as they waited for the ceremony to end, making soft jibes under their breath. Her home was far away now, though.
Aconite let out a breath as the cats began to disperse again. She fidgeted as she waited for her chance to slip through the crowd and catch sight of the new warrior, but he was gone now, and as she glanced about she failed to find him. She stifled her disappointment as she stepped back, biting her lip. Well, he'd want to be with his family now anyway, she could always congratulate him later. There would always be time.

LIONPRIDE
THE LOVEABLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
At first he couldn't find her, but he followed his nose until he finally found her near the back of the crowd as the cats began going on about their business "Aconite" he greeted warmly pressing his nose up against her cheek, but then taking a step backwards so that they didn't show to much affection out in the open like this. He tried to find the words to say, but they kept catching in his throats like burrs in his coat. He just couldn't get them out.
After all how does one express that the cat with the most power in the clan wanted you dead? In any case he had to warn her, to give her the chance to escape from here. If his mother and father were struggling to protect him, there was no telling what Foxstar would do to her once she would out about their relationship. "Hey, can we uhm... talk somewhere a little more private?"
She sighed as she gave up her search. She turned just in time to spot Lionpride and leaned into his touch with a warm purr. "Lionpride! Congratulations on your new name, it really suits you," she told her. Her own name was still taking some time to get used to, even if it was just a shorter version of what it had always been, and she just hoped the next one wasn't terrible. If there was a next one - sometimes she still fretted if her faith would be strong enough, and dreaded the day she'd be tested, but she kept that to herself. She didn't want to worry him unnecessarily, the young warrior had enough on his mind already.
Her head tilted as he stumbled over his words. "Of course," she murmured, dipping her head slightly. Something was wrong but she wasn't sure what it was. If she wasn't supposed to be here surely he wouldn't have greeted her so warmly? "Lead the way."

THE LOVEABLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
Lionpride noticed, and set a brisk pace away from the others while nervously glancing back over his shoulders. It was hard to hide the tension in his shoulders, not even really getting to respond to the comment about his name. He just needed to get her away from here, and fast. He began leading her back towards the NightClan border, not really speak. It was only once they had gotten a good amount of distance between them and the camp that Lionpride finally spoke "It's not safe for you here anymore" he glanced back nervously towards the camp before finally focusing on her "I need you to go, and to not look back" it pained him to say the words, but it was the only that he would be able to protect her from foxstar
Aconite gave him careful, subtle glances as they walked, seeing his nerves and feeling the fur on her spine begin to lift uneasily as well. Whatever had him this on edge couldn't be good. She was only just getting to know this clan and still found many of their ways strange, but not enough to react like this. What had happened that she missed? She turned the last few days over in mind, searching for anything that made sense, but there was nothing to explain the tension in his stance. He'd been busy preparing to be a warrior and she'd been busy working with the Senators, learning about the rivalry between the gods. She hadn't been close enough to see the small changes happen then, but she saw their effect now.
She knew the path back home, and it made her uneasy to be headed along it. Her fears were confirmed when he finally spoke. Aconite bit her lip as she looked away from him, hiding her pain as best she could from him, though no doubt she could see the tightening of her eyes as she fought off a wave of grief. She'd known this day would come, that he'd send her back and forget about her, and had even prepared for it, though she was given to hope she might stay. Now, though, it was all happening wrong. He was sending her away but he seemed sorry for it; he wasn't tired of her, he was concerned about her.
"I'm older than you are," she reminded him softly. "I can look after myself."

' "You can protect yourself from many things, but not from this.... no one can protect you from this" he could feel his eyes begin to water, and a tear begin to slip down his cheek. "Please I am begging you, this may be the last chance you get to escape. I will walk you to the border, but then you need to keep going and not look back. He pressed his nose against her cheek savoring her scent, before pulling back "The less you know the more safe you will be. This isn't good bye, I will follow you soon but you have to go before its to late"
She raised her baby blue gaze to hold his, her heart breaking to see him cry. He was terrified for reasons she couldn't understand, but that didn't give her the courage to leave. She'd faced worse, including the earthquake she once thought destroyed her clan. Whatever was left now, they could face it. "I'm not leaving without you," she murmured gently, with no room for disagreement. "If it's so dangerous I need to leave then you should, too. I don't want you getting hurt."
He was all she had now. She needed him to be safe.

LIONPRIDE
THE LOVEABLE - SUNCLAN WARRIOR
' "You have to..." he whimpered "Aconite, I love you" he stopped realizing that it was the first time that he had said the words aloud. It was true, even though it had taken such a situation for him to realize that his feelings for her were far stronger than just a mere friendship. Each day that they had spent together since she had came to SunClan the feelings between them had blossomed.
"Aconite, I need you to be safe. Auntie Foxstar.. she... she tried to kill me. She is not herself, and wants to hurt my parents in any way that she can. However, because I am the son of the priestess promised I have some protection. You are an initiate, if she finds out about us, I'm afraid of what she might do to you" he took in a deep breathe "I am going to leave to, I will follow you... but I have to get my sister, and my younger siblings out to. I can't just leave them at her mercy."
I love you. Oh how her heart smoldered at those words, the heat in her chest almost unbearable within her. She wanted to focus on his words, but it echoed deep inside her, a resounding drum that overwhelmed her ears. I love you. How long had she wanted to tell him that? How many times had she come close, only to give up in fear he didn't feel the same? She was older than him, maybe not by much, but older; and she was an outsider, just a stray hunter that had been lucky enough to run into him and have her life changed forever. He had no reason to feel the same, and sometimes she had feared he didn't, only when they were together could she feel the bond between them, too strong to doubt. I love you.
She wanted to cry. How could she leave now? She couldn't, she couldn't leave him, not now. Like a splash of cold water upon her face, she was finally dragged out of her trance when the realization slowly sunk in that his life was under attack. "She tried to kill you?" Aconite whispered, and now there was a quaver in her voice. She had seen the Priestess fight, had seen her execute cats, and she was terrified in her very bones of facing that. But still she hesitated. "I can't leave you in danger. I'll help you get the others out. You're right, I'm just an initiate. She won't look twice at me. And if she does, I'll just run, okay? I'm quick. Let me help."
The Priestess watched from the shadows. At first, she hadn't even been paying attention, until she heard him tell her to follow him for some privacy. And then she snapped to, quieting down and remaining still for a few moment before discretely following them from downwind. She climbed a tree nearby hidden by fiery leaves that masked her pelt's color, and she stopped to listen, just close enough to catch the majority of their conversation, though even still, a few of the quieter words escaped her. That didn't matter though, it was more than enough to make her blood boil. The traitors.
' "You are still going to stay..." he stopped himself, and the shook his head "Ok but you have to be very careful. At the first sign of danger, you have to promise me that you will run. No hesitation, just run" he had seen first hand what she was capable of and he was terrified. He wanted to push her to just go, but at the same time being apart from her was almost more scary than having her stay
"I'll keep myself safe," she promised gently, "I'm more worried about you. She doesn't even know who I am, but she's already tried to kill you. Isn't it safer for you to leave now? I can help everyone else get out, but you need to run." Aconite frowned. Her young lover was too soft and she knew it. Hadn't he once saved a mouse from death? How could he possibly hope to protect himself? She had seen him grow, had seen he could he fierce and strong of heart, but that didn't mean he was a match for the cunning leader. She feared for his life.

She'd already heard more than enough, but Foxstar couldn't help but lean in to listen further as they continued to dig their graves deeper. Ah, tragic love. How it made her sick. The thoughts formed in her mind quickly, a plan to make Littlebird suffer for the treason of the son she'd raise. They would pay. But for now, her ears twitched, and she stayed put. The more they spoke, the better.

' He moved and pressed his nose against her cheek "Perhaps, but as long as I am careful I should be ok. Being Littlebird's and Skipstep's son gives me some protection, I just need to prevent being alone with Foxstar and I should be ok. I will just stay near the crowds and watch where she is going" he paused and smiled "When we are at camp, I will try not to draw to much attention to you. It will be easier if she doesn't realize that you are working with me... even if it hurts not to be able to get close to you"
