A dark black kit paced back and forth in front of the nursery. Bright yellow eyes like the moon darted from one thing to the next in a blind panic. There was nothing to be worried about, it was a peaceful day in Moonclan. But Siouxkit couldn't stop, the grass below her now stamped down enough to give up on rising back up. Quietly, she counted in a light voice. There was no way to hear her unless you were right next to her, which was impossible with her pacing. Finally, she came to a stop. Seemingly satisfied, she curled up next to the wall in the sun. While there was some contentment, it was only a matter of time till she had to do the ritual all over again.
Cruxkit stood watching her sister with a blank expression, wondering what exactly she was doing, the black and brown she-cat shook her head and began to walk over. "What are you doing?" She asked in a dry voice.

"Uh--umm." Siouxkit didn't even notice her sister, a warm wave of embarrassment washing over her. She didn't know how to explain it though. Nothing new for the flippant she-kit. Looking away from her sister, she shook her head, "It's nothing. What's up with you, Cruxkit?"
The she-cat tilted her head slightly at her sisters unsatisfying answer, she took a step closer and sat down with her eyes watching Siouxkit. "Oh nothing, I was just curious about your strange behavior, I was kind of hoping for a better answer." She lifted her shoulders in a shrug, brushing her tail over the ground as it curled around her paws.
