Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Can we even feel life? I figured if any place would have accepted the irony of that statement it would have been here." There was warmth to the amusement, almost as sympathetic as it was bitingly condescending in nature, almost like a half interested flirt by someone way out of the other person's league. Elleth padded over, taking a likely unwelcomed seat beside the pair as she too ran her tongue down a long, deep scar on one of her shoulder blades. Elleth had only recently gone from initiate to hunter, but the moxy with which she moved through the land seemed to speak to a can who had lived there their entire life.

'Aw Elleth." Mazikeen greeted the young she-cat "You seem awfully chipper" The mangy small rat like she-cat blinked dark shadowy yellow eyes. Daedric raised a brow and sighed as yet another she-cat joined and made the uncanny meeting a circle.

Elleth flashed the pair a grin, something like a serpentine smile that was as much dark and foreboding as it was, in someways, sickly charming. "I try to be." She answer in a sardonic drawl which she punctuated with a cocky with of her left sunflower yellow optic. "Why do you think I came over to sit by you two?" She asked, her voice twisting into an odd mix of amiable teasing and slightly instigating mockery. "You both seem like the epitome of fun and optimism."

"You best scratch out your eyes and get new ones Elleth." Aconite meowed moving to also join the circle of cats. The white and black stripped she-cat settled down lightly and gave her chest a few cleansing licks. "These two are nothing but nest warmers." she meowed bluntly.
"Your one to talk." Daedric hissed in response. He never liked Aconite. She kept too many secrets.

"My goodness, seems like we're starting a party!" Elleth declared, casually waving her tail in greeting Aconite's and ignoring Daedric's clear distaste at the other she cat's arrival. "Anyways, since you're insisting these guys are so boring and you still sat with us, that must mean I'm just the definition of a fun time, right?" Elleth said, giving a small giggle at her own comment.
"I consider being less dreadful a compliment." Elleth replied, seeming well amused by the other she cat. "So, now that we basically have our own little square of camp, anyone want to share some good gossip? I can go first." She said, her eyes flickering with amusement as she actually bother to turn her voice into a low hush. "Have any of you started considering yet what we're going to do in winter given the fact like none of the prey we're catching is edible?" She asked, her eyes treating the topic as if somehow the concept of starving to death was some trivial little game that they ought to get ready to play. Still, her eyes seemed to scan Daedric's face for his reaction the most; perhaps because the question could almost have been seen as doubting the tom's mother (and the league's Nemesis) ability to handle the problem, or perhaps because she wondered if his somehow the tom's place as royalty gave him any more insight into the inner workings of the problem.
"Hmm... I guess that's not so much gossip as it is a question, but I feel that it will lead to good gossip, right?" Elleth tagged on a bit airily, as if explaining that fact was pointless, but she bothered to do it anyways.

Daedric shrugged. Despite his bloodline and connection to the Nemesis he was by no means her favorite son. "Im sure if it got bad enough Vera would invade some clan's territory to tae what we needed." he looked back at his leg that was sticking out to the side fro, under him. Still twisted and stiff. Useless really. "Not really my problem I suppose. Not that I can really hunt."
Mazikeen rolled her eyes having no pity for the prince. "Yeah right, you could probably walk right up to your mother and bring it up"
"That's if Vera would give him the time of day." Aconite pointed out. Blue eyes glinting.

"Pretty problematic for everyone if we all starved to death." Her words that she mostly directed towards Daedric words were blunt, but there was a bite of compassion to her words too. However, a second later her eyes gleamed with interest yet again, letting her claws flex at the idea that just popped into her head. "But, on a different note, I'd love to do a little conquesting. I've heard a lot about the league's little ventures in clan destruction, it's one of the reasons I bothered getting the heck beaten out of me in the first place to get in here." The way she mentioned initiation sounded more like the vetting for some fancy club instead of a brutal process of beating and breaking-down of self that was the reality of becoming a new league member, but she continued on. "Wish I'd been there for the past ones, and I'm hoping I'm not to late to get in on another. Besides, not that a dark shady forest isn't paradise on earth, but I'd like to take down somewhere like Springclan and use it as a quality vacation spot. Doesn't it sound like fun? An on top of that we could get those flower-sniffers to bring us some of their mice and stuff." She said, half joking and yet half in reverie, completely unbeknownst to her that Nightclan, Brookclan, and Sunclan were currently seemingly trying their best to live that very dream.

Aconite flicked her tail "Im sure the additions to the kill pile would be appreciated but dont go sticking your tail into so much trouble that your bring it back on Vera, she may skin you int he dirt place and hang you up by your tail as a new decoration." The white and black tabby raised a brow as she spoke as if amusing herself with the image she had just painted.
Daedric wrinkled his nose in distaste. Frankly he wasnt sure why he was still sitting here despite the fact of saving face instead of attempting to hobble away gracefully.
Mazikeen tipped her ehad to the side at the idea of invasion. "I wouldnt mind taking some claim to the flower nation. Maybe roll in a flower bed and get rid of some of my stink you know?"

"Well if Vera went through all that trouble at least she'd get a quality piece of decor." Elleth laughed back, seemingly equally amused despite the fact Aconite had just written out a very gruesome end to her days. Still, she perked up a bit, letting her eyes and ears quickly scan the area to make sure the Nemesis wasn't around to here the comment. Was it really that offensive? She didn't think so, but after almost actually ending up as Vera's doormat just a few days ago when she had made a less than elegantly timed comment to the Assasin's current mate only to find their bengal empress right behind her, she was planning on trying to avoid making the same mistake again.
She then turned her attention to Mazikeen with another chuckle of amusement. "I'd like you to do it too, if only because I'm like to see the Springclan cats reaction to it. Really, you know, besides having a flower resort to prance off to whenever I get bored around here, I'd just like to see those clan cats squirm."
"You make them sound like a hydra, or more aptly an infestation. Take out one and three more pop up. Not that I'd argue with calling them the later." Elleth said, letting out a laugh that was a little too dry to be completely out of good humor. "So what do you want to blame that on though? Uh... Maybe I phrased that weirdly. What I mean is, why do you think it is, you know, the fact that they're willing to all band together to fight us if we take one of them down, especially when it would be more beneficial to them to just let one of their many potential enemies get wiped off the map." The question was clearly deeper than what they'd been touching on before, more than just pointless fantasy. Still, Elleth treated it with the same sort of playful irreverence that she had talked about possibly starving, like it was some sort of game or pointless joke that everyone should have gotten.
"Do you think it's a hero complex, or is it fear they'll be next, or because they have some loyalty to their allies? A mixture? All three?" She asked the question, continuing with a tone that had the same light airiness as if this was just casual gossip she'd mentioned they'd ought to talk about before instead of the rather deep philosophical questions she was actually touching on.
