Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Suspicious scents were noted around the bear cave. A patrol is sent to deal with it. Unbeknownst to them, it's Elyon the Assassin of PI setting a trap to lure them into the bear cave to kill them. Throwaway cats are allowed, all who enter the cave will die to Elyon's paws.)
Strange scents had been noted around the bear cave. It was odd as the old bear cave had been empty for many moons.
But it wasn't unheard of for a bear to return. One had shown up several seasons ago, but hadn't taken up residence.
Perhaps this was yet another unwanted large visitor, who had now decided to make themselves at home in the cave.
Houndfang had been tasked with leading the patrol to search the cave, the muscular brown tom led the group to the mouth of the cave. Prey scent was lacking, and it was unsurprising. The place stunk of... something. Houndfang had never encountered bear to know what it smelled like. But he imagined a large beast as it had been described was capable of giving off such a stink.
"All right. Well, our objective is to figure out what we're dealing with." Houndfang said calmly. He glanced back at his cats. "So no heroics understand?"
Houndfang shot Umbrahound a glare. "No kit, it just gets you dead. I won't have any mousebrained antics on this mission. This is dangerous. IF we're dealing with a bear. We're in big trouble."
Umbrahound rolled his eyes and scoffed "What if whatever is in there gets you injured? I must be a coward and leave all of you to die? Sorry, Cheif, but that's not me. I'd much rather die a hero than live as a coward. Wouldnt you?"
Houndfang sighed. "I meant, no engaging the beasty on your own kit." He said. "'Sides I'm old kit, you've got a whole life ahead of you. Dont' go squandering that."He glanced at the rest of their patrol. "ARe we all ready to go?" He asked.
Houndfang nodded and beckoned for him and the rest of their patrol to follow as he slipped into the cave. "Remember to be on your guard, it's going to be quiet going forwards her." Houndfang said as he slipped in.
