Cranberrykit lurked out of the nursery, holding back a yawn that threatened to give herself away. She was tired of being all cooped up. It was time to go exploring and learn everything about Moonclan. The russet and white kitten peered around and stuck to the shadows as she made her way to the camp's exit. "Almost there." She growled quietly, but excitedly.

Mudkit peeked one eye open to see Cranberrykit leaving the nursery. He lifted his head and checked to make sure his mother was asleep before slipping out to follow her. He bounded after her and cut her off from the exit. "Your not thinking about going alone, are you?" The silver and brown tabby kitten asked with a smirk. He was almost an apprentice. He was already suppose to be one but because Moonclan bad fallen on hard times along with countless escapes out of camp, his apprentice ceremony had been delayed by about a moon.

Cranberrykit almost jumped out of her fur at Mudkit's sudden appearance. "Hey, keep your voice down." She hissed, yet there was a playful gleam in her dark green eyes. "Do you think you can keep up?"
"Can I keep up? Of course I can!" He responded loudly before wincing when he realized how loud he was being. "So, where are we going?" He asked, lowering his voice.

The ginger and white kit slapped her tail over his mouth and rolled her eyes before nodding towards a hole in the camp walls. "We are going that way. Maybe we'll find some ghosts?" Her eyes flickered with mischief and she removed her tail from his muzzle.

Her eyes sparkled. Easy target. "Oh, of course there are." She responded in a hushed, spooky voice as she continued to slip out of the camp. "Haven't you seen them?"

"Down in the deepest, darkest part of Moonclan's woods." She meowed slyly, a little louder now that they were out of earshot of the camp. "Have you ever been out here?"
