The time seemed to never shift as he waited, patient on the outside, for his sister's arrival. She had recently been made leader, and while Lavenderblood was proud, he worried how their relationship would be after this new change. Other than his twin, Gardeniastar was probably the closest to him. She knew about his perfectionist tendencies and the fact that he masked the turmoil on the inside with a face of poise on the outside. The thought of things shifting between them made him nervous, but he had to keep it together for her sake. That is why he had planned to stroll around the territory and talk about their new reality.
He was silly to have such worries. However, Gardeniastar knew how her brother was. In fact, she’d set out to find the tom not too soon after her arrival. Luckily, she hadn’t needed to look far. He was already waiting on her. Gardeniastar rushed forward and pressed her nose into his furs, taking comfort in his presence. Her brother understood her the most.
She breathed in sharply, and murmured. “I wish I could tell you about the ceremony...”

Relief softened his stance and he licked his sister's ear gently. "I wish I could hear about it." He answered truthfully, but shook his head soon after the words left his mouth. "But I know it's a sacred ceremony that you must keep secret." He had never understood Starclan's ways, but he trusted them for the most part. They knew more than he ever could. He silently wondered what they thought of a wreck like himself.
"Tell me, how do you feel?" He asked with a purr. He couldn't imagine how strenuous the journey and the ceremony were.
Even his scent could comfort her. It was nice, to have family that she were so close to. It warmed her heart the most. She pulled away and straightened herself, her eyes gazing to him. “I feel... heavy.” Gardeniastar admitted, her ears dropping slightly as she brushed her tail against the ground.
