Who cared who was leader? Sunfrog just wanted to perform her duties as a warrior in peace. She was already sick of the uncertainty and the murmurs, it wasn't what they were supposed to focus on. Besides, their leader was their leader, why debate on something that couldn't be changed? And as long as she was a SummerClan warrior, Sunfrog would follow the law of whoever was in charge because that was what loyal warriors did. Sunfrog wasn't one to gossip and definitely wasn't one to question the system and had made that clear the few times others had tried to engage her in a conversation about it. It was annoying enough to Sunfrog that she'd begun dodging patrols, instead focusing on things like changing the beds of every cat in camp and helping the queens with the kits. Today found her changing the last of the elder's bedding before she intended to slink off alone to hunt.
Gardeniastar had noticed, however. Despite her being young, she was definitely observant. The orange feline had decided it was time to confront the warrior about the situation. She had began walking that way, and called her name loud enough to catch her attention.

Sunfrog froze as her name was called, spinning around and feeling her heart thud with sudden anxiety when she recognized Gardeniastar's form. There was no escape for her and she had a feeling she was in for a scolding about her lack of patrolling. Tail trailing the ground, the small warrior padded over to her leader, dipping her head respectfully as she approached, "um, hello, Gardeniastar. What can I do for you?"
She took in the sight of Sunfrog carefully. It made her heart ache to see a fellow clanmate so down. “Come on a walk with me?” She asked softly. She’d rather ask than demand. It was... nicer that way. Gardeniastar has left the offer open with the possibility of being rejected, though she definitely hoped to avoid that.

"Oh," Sunfrog was sure now she was in trouble. "O-of course, Gardeniastar." The small cat looked uncertainly at her leader, unsure of whether she should take the lead or let Gardeniastar lead them wherever she had in mind. Sunfrog had never spent personal time with a leader, nor had her mother. She was one of the group, a loyal warrior, but an easily overlooked one. That suited her fine, especially considering the internal panic she felt at the prospect of a walk with her new leader.
“Wonderful.” The leader purred as she seemed to gain a little pep in her step. She began to lead the way, taking the weight of her fellow warrior having to, away.
