Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It didn't take Lux long to adjust to the city, or more accurately, it didn't take him long to adjust to the night life of the city. As far as he was concerned some strangely over crowded tow-leg dens had really good taste in music, the downside was that they were always swarming with two-legs and he would often get cased away even if he so much as got too close to the doors. Even worse yet was some of the two-legs even tried to touch him. He learned quickly though, that the alley ways behind these loud two-leg dens were just as good, if not.. sort of lonesome. Usually being alone wasn't his scene but, this place was an exception. He could hear the music clearly from out here, the night was other wise calm and quiet, and if that weren't enough, there were strangely hollow green boulders filled with what the two-legs discarded some of which he wasn't too fond of but, if he were hungry enough he could find something to take the edge off.
It seemed tonight was one of those nights, he wasn't overly fond of rummaging through two-leg things but, he was over hunting pigeons and large rats. The dark Siamese carefully walked around the ledge of the 'boulder' almost invisible save the dimly light coming in off the street, he was carefully prodding at the soft, large black masses that filled it. This one was emptied often enough that the whole thing didn't utterly reek of crowfood, still he realized how this look should any of the other league cats come this way.

Of course, Lorelei took to the city like a leech does to anything with blood. Fully. Completely. Willing to suck it dry if it meant getting what she wanted. The manor was old, musty, boring. This, however, was far more interesting. There were so many new little secrets to discover, new foods to try, and of course new things to murder. She approached the hands that reached out for her, ever tempted to bite them as they ran through her calico pelt. She was overly curious about how twoleg tasted, but she wouldn't get a chance to try for a long time at this rate.
The road she walked on now was flooded with the sound of music. Tall and strong, the odd eyed granddaughter of Senescence casually walked through the streets like she had absolutely nothing to worry about. Nodding along, she sang a little with the music. "Boom. Boom. Boom. Like a bass drum. Baby make me mo-o-move. To your rhythm. Make my heart go boom. Boom. Boo-" Paws lightly dancing to the beat, she paused as she caught something out of the corner of her eye. A dark figure digging in twoleg... stuff. Lorelei didn't really know, this whole world was new to her. Quietly, she crept up to the container, wondering just who or what it was and if it heard her. Still, she lifted on her hind legs and slammed her front paws into the side of the container, suddenly screaming "BOOM."

Lux's mouth opened, in surprise but no sound came out as he gripped the metal with his claws, he was not spending the evening washing crowfood out of his pelt, he would reek for days and wouldn't be surprised if Funk would make him sleep outside, he surely wouldn't be sharing a nest with anyone tonight should that happen. Still for all his poise Lux couldn't keep his fur from fluffing up in his momentary surprise. Heart, pounding in his ears he looked down to see Lorelei looking up at him, probably more than pleased with herself. "Is this one of Scenesence's attempts on my life?" He asked, unable to keep the slightly amused smirk off his face.

"You wish." Lorelei laughed, overly childish and giddy, " 'He died as he lived, in garbage' is what she would say, though I guess now that isn't gonna work as well since you know." Senescence wouldn't send Lorelei on a mission like that anyway. For as much as she loved the Internal Affairs proxy, Lorelei was a coinflip. A 50/50 chance. She could succeed spectacularly, or fail miserably. Nothing in-between. Her presence was more of a warning than anything else, a signal for the end. But hey, least she made it fun. The tall calico hopped up on the edge of the container, staring down briefly into its depths before back at Lux, "What'cha doin?"

"Aw. That's sweet. I didn't think Scenesence cared enough to write any final statements on my coffin, though if I make her that angry at least she's thinking of me." He chuckled to himself as he gave up on his 'hunt' and jumped from the dumpster landing awkwardly. And a little harder than he intended to next to Lorelei. "As pathetic as it might sound I was looking for something to eat. Sometimes two legs are stupid enough to throw out perfectly fresh food and I was hoping to not have to actually work for my supper." He paused for a moment before turning to grin at her. "And you Darling? What brings you out with the vermin tonight?"

Lorelei didn't follow his flowery prose, somewhat opting to look inside the dumpster as Lux went on. It was practically empty, and she rocked somewhat on the thin edge of it. She peaked back up when the question came back to her. Looking up briefly, she tried to piece her thoughts together and even stitched her eyes shut briefly. "Oh yeah." Lorelei said suddenly, opening her eyes again, "I'm on my way to the Gridiron. I think I'm up for a fight tonight. There might be some food there if you want to come with. Thought it might not suit your tastes." Further down the street, if you slip through the right areas, you'll get to an abandoned sports store known as the Gridiron. It had been completely remodeled into a layman's betting ring. Lorelei was more brought there rather than finding it, they expected her to be an easy kill. Though that obviously wasn't the case. It would eventually be swallowed up by the League when the Stadium was completely set up, but she didn't mind going every now and again anyway.
(yes i am making up new territory as i go, leave me alone)
