Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She knew eyes were on her quite often. Whispering that she was not quite ready for such a large job. The job of carrying a clan was not easy, especially with a cat as young and inexperienced as Gardeniastar was. She was trying, despite the boulder that seemed to sit between her shoulder blades.
As she walked through the forest, she tried to breathe as deep as she could. For the moment, she was alone. For how long, she was unsure. Leaders never seemed to be left alone! Always making choices and having to make big decisions...
"Penny for your thoughts, miss?" meowed a Russian blue tom with baby blues. He seemed as if he had appeared out of nowhere, and maybe he did. He was good at that, appearing and disappearing in relatively thin air. It was in his blood, it felt like. His tone was gentle, the kind of tone that would be encouraging. It was low and had a bit of a southern drawl to it, as if it could be expected that he would tip a hat and wear nothing but work jeans and boots. But, alas, he was a cat, so instead, he just looked at her with feined concern. "You look upset."
Gardeniastar couldn’t help but jolt at the sudden voice that broke through the thoughts. Her green eyes locked with the tom, and she halted in her walk. “Who are you?” It was an instant question, but she found it hard to blunt anything else out. Her ears angled forward, whiskers twitching almost uneasily.
