Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A crescent moon hung high in the star speckled sky. The air was crisp with the beginning signs of leaf fall. Orange and red leaves were painted with a silver glow in the light of the moon. A beautiful and elegant she-cat draped in glossy midnight black fur made her way through the dimly lit forest. Although the league had moved to the city, Melori still snuck off to the forest. She missed the shelter of the trees and the musty sweet smell of the Woodlands. That night was quiet. The only sound that split the silence was the distant hooting of an owl. This was what Melori loved most. Nothing but a cool, silent night. She headed for the nearest clearing she knew of and climbed a large stone that rested in the middle and took a seat at the top. She lifted her icy, crystal blue eyes toward the sky blanketed with sparkling stars.
Lost in her own thoughts, she reflected. Melori was always very quiet. Gifted with magnetic beauty, she always chose to hide in the shadows. The darkness, the night, were her only friends. She was always different from her family. More twisted in the mind than the rest of her litter mates. She wondered if she would ever find true love or if it even existed. She was beautiful, yes, but she didnt see herself as mate material. She was shy and sometimes moody with somewhat of a sick sense of humor. She liked to make herself invisible and many of her league mates didnt even know she existed. She liked it that way, though. She didnt like attention and it made her become anxious and irritable to be around a lot of cats at one time. She often hoped of one day having a family, but what tom would settle for someone so twisted? Someone who considers dreaming of flowers and sunshine as a nightmare. Perhaps one day, a tom would come along that would either love her for who she is or at least make her feel something even if it didnt last.
